15 Riku’s Pas (1/2)
Riku and Kiroy stared at each other for a long time with the bewilderment. They both had the flames of what happened 10 years ago in their eyes.
Year 735, Kingdom of Zeton
Riku and Kiroy Kabayashi lost their parents long ago. homeless and destitute, they lived in the kingdom. Riku was always cornered, fighting bad people no matter how strong they were to save the good people, but he was always beaten, and it was always his brother who saved him.
usually, when people saw the silhouette of Kiroy Kabayashi, they would flee in fear or acquire wounds that they would never forget. Kiroy was able to use his ice power with ease, but Riku had difficulty controlling his power as he had not yet had enough experience.
On the night of an ordinary day, Riku and Kiroy head towards the heavy where the horses stay to spend the night.
That night the kingdom gets attacked by the fire clan. Kiroy and Riku hear screams and they quickly get out. Kiroy hides in the decoy alley with saying\” We have to hide.\” as they hide, they watch the fire clan kill the Royal soldiers. they can hardly stand to not to make a sound. once the voices are stopped, they look at the soldiers again. they see a lot of bodies lying on the ground. they prepare to move but a man appears,the man was an old,medium-height man with a long white beard.
at first they try to figure out who he is, but then someone from the ice clan says,
\”Sir, we haven't found the children,\” they realize that the person they see was Hathor, the leader of the fire clan. according to the Legends described, Hathor's power was incredibly high.
Riku said \”The children?\”
Kiroy said \”They are probably looking for us\”
Kiroy says,\” We have to get out of here now \” and runs fast, holding Riku's hand. A few members of the fire clan notice them and shout, \”I've seen them.\” Kiroy and Riku have been experts in escapism since they have encountered such a situation countless times before.
so they manage to escape from those who stand in their way and head towards a large waterfall, which they see unnoticed. when they hit the falls, they realize they have nowhere to go. Besomer and members of the fire clan surround them. \”What do you want from us,\” asks Kiroy. Besomer grinning
\” You are the descendants of Warold, which means you are the future heirs of that old man.\” \”I don't know who you're talking about, but before you call someone old, you better look in the mirror, and we're just stuck with that power, that's all.\”
Besomer said, \” Why do you think you have the power of ice, you know that such power cannot be obtained out of nowhere.\”Besomer,\” or don't you know your story, let me tell you.\”
\”Long ago, your father was murdered by Sunor, the sun god.your grandfather Warold fought the Sun God nonstop for 2 days to avenge him. your grandfather was about to win the war, but Zaldra found out and cursed your grandfather, took you away, and left you to this kingdom.your grandfather has been looking for you for years. The Sun God is now invincibly powerful and
we are pawns of the sun god. we're here to get what we need on his orders.\”
Riku says,\” We don't want to have any friendship with people like you.\” \”I didn't mention I was going to get you both,\” Beromes says with a grin. Beromes then tosses it to Riku, creating a fireball. Kira pushes Riku and covers herself. Riku falls down the waterfall. Kiroy, on the other hand, stands in the way of the fireball being launched.
As Riku falls, he shouts \”brother \” and falls into the river. the runoff of the River drives the Riku out of there fast.
The next morning, Riku opens his eyes in an unknown place with his hands tied. There are 3 men across from Riku.The man in the Middle starts laughing and talking. \”You finally woke up, huh?\”
Riku says,\”Who are you, where am I, and why are my hands tied?\” the man in the middle grins, \”I'm so curious about these new teenagers, gentlemen, let me introduce myself anyway. My name is Joffers,\” he says,
and then stands up and says, \”Welcome to my hell.\”
Jofers was tall, middle-aged, orange-haired, magic master, bad personality.
Jofferson continues to speak. \”my men found you in the woods and brought you here.\”
\”where we are is the Trailon mine,and the good thing is you're going to work for me from now on,the leash around your neck will stop you from using your ice power, in case you use it. think of it as a favor and one last thing, if you try to escape, I'll feed you to my dogs.\”
Riku said, \”Don't forget my face because this face will be the last one you'll ever see.\”
Jofers laughs and says, \”Well, I'm looking forward to it,\” and leaves.
After the joffers ' men untie Riku's hands, they take him to work the mine. Riku begins working by seeing the occupation. every day, Riku's back begins to have permanent scars. One day Riku sees that one of the soldiers is bullying a girl his age. Riku cannot accept this situation and attacks the soldier with all his might. other soldiers come to control the situation.
They take Riku to his cell and punish him for what he did. the next day, Riku's sentence was lifted and he returns to work. yesterday's girl shyly goes to Riku and says, \”Thank you.\”
\”No problem \”Riku says with a smile.
She introduces herself. her name was Sugu.
She was a beautiful girl of medium height,dark hair,blue eyes.
After introducing herself to Riku, Riku starts asking questions about where he is.
Sugu answers his questions. \”This is the Trailon mine. everything here is Jefferson's business. Jefferson is picking up kids your age and mine from weak villages and make them work to death in here and all Jefferson wants is gold,jewels,rubies from the mines.\”
Riku asks, \”Well, Is there any way out of here?\”
Sugu looks around and says quietly, \”It's impossible to get out of here,no one has escaped before, and those who tried to escape have been killed.\”
Riku asks,\” I have to get out of here, I can't stand in a dump like this, are you coming?\”
Sugu asks with astonishment, \”How are we going to do escape? Its impossible.\”
Riku says,\” I have have a plan in mind.\”
Sugu said, \”To open the exit door, you need to get the key from the high-ranking guard, or we can't get out of here.\”
Riku says, \”I'll make a separate plan for that, let's end our conversation here or they'll realize we're up to something.\” and they leave there.
Some time later,Riku meets people named Awer, Tere and Ilay in the refectory.
The kids he meets are eager to get out of here. just like him. Riku tells them about the plan in his mind and they start working together. the first step is to get the key, the second step is to get to the security room and disarm the collar around their necks, and the last step is to riot and get out of here.
Riku starts a fake fight in the mess hall and secretly takes the key from the high-ranking guard who comes to stop the fight. the second stage was more difficult than the first stage. As Tere and Awer are tall, they secretly knock out the two guards and put on their clothes. The clothes were masked and beacuse of the masks no one will know who they were.
when they get to the room, everything was ready. all you have to do is disarm the lanyards,mutiny and escape, but Jefferson goes down to the mine with the guards.
realizing this, Riku stops the plan by pointing to the others because there have been too many soldiers.
Jefferson shouted, \” Has anyone seen Sugu? oh okay ı saw her, go get her boys boys.\”
