“Okay,” replied Li Ran with a smile.

Then, a voice came from Lin Nan’s walkie-talkie.

It was time for him to leave and go on his mission.

Before Lin Nan left, he hugged Li Ran tightly and lovingly again.

“Stay safe.”

Once Lin Nan was gone, Li Ran lay on the bed and touched her stomach.

Shortly after, there was another knock on the door.

It was another food delivery but this time, it was personally arranged by Lin Nan.

Li Ran took the food and thanked the person who delivered it.

Then, she closed the door.

Lin Nan had sent her some rice with shredded pork. There was also a side of mashed potato and sour plum soup. Everything was still hot.

Li Ran could smell the savory aroma.

She took a bite.

It was delicious.

Since Li Ran had not eaten in the morning, she managed to finish all the food.

Then, she disposed of all the trash in the waste bin.

After wiping her mouth, she went directly to the second floor!

Li Ran knocked on Gu Jin’s door.

Gu Zhao was the one who opened it.
