“It’s okay, I’m just relieved that you’re safe. We can talk about it later!”

Li Ran promised that she would look for her later.

Lin Ke smiled and made an “Ok” gesture.

Then, she slipped away.

Once she left, another voice could be heard.

“So, who is this? Why is there a surprise the moment I return?”

It was Fang Lin.

Lin Nan and Fang Lin fist-bumped each other as a form of greeting.

Fang Lin then turned around and looked at Li Ran. He said mischievously, “Hello, sister-in-law! You are indeed as beautiful as a flower. It’s a pity that you’re with Lin Nan. He had really scored.”

“Stop speaking nonsense.”

Lin Nan could not be bothered with Fang Lin. He held Li Ran’s hand and walked towards a room.

“By the way, I forgot to inform you that most of our troops had been transferred away. There was a horde of zombies and we were preparing to blow them up. So, a lot of manpower was needed.”

“Yeah, they are your soldiers. You can transfer them all you want. Why do you need to report it to me?”

“When have I not reported to you?”

Fang Lin really wanted to retort, but he changed his mind after seeing Li Ran.

“You don’t know what you’re talking about. If your brain is damaged, go see a doctor.”

“How did your people deal with the matter?”

“Oh, do you mean Cui Chong? We haven’t dealt with him yet. Are the both of you going over there? To see how I deal with him?”

“Yes, we are.”

“Aren’t you afraid of scaring your wife?” Fang Lin said shamelessly.

Li Ran chuckled, “I’m not afraid. I want to torture him to death.”

“What a woman. She looks gentle but the moment she opens her mouth, she’s ruthless!”

Fang Lin smiled as he looked at Lin Nan.

How did he subdue such a woman? There were no merits to Lin Nan’s besides his looks!
