“Lin Nan! Are you actually believing everything that he had said? Don’t you know better?”

Fang Lin looked at Lin Nan in disbelief. He was so shocked. His expression was as if he had just seen a ghost.

Cui Chong smiled at Fang Lin and said, “If you have any doubts, just ask me and I will clear everything up. In fact, I think that it was very likely that Li Ran survived.”

He looked at their doubtful eyes and could tell that they do not trust him. It would just be a waste of time to try to dig up any information from them.

“Alright. I’ll report the incident to the higher-ups later.”

What Cui Chong was trying to imply was that he could communicate directly with the higher-ups. He was trying to one-up the two.
