Fang Qiu’s heart was racing. She was trying to hide her excitement but then, she saw that Cui Chong was only paying attention to Li Ran.

Her heart was burning with jealousy, like a raging wildfire.

“What happened?”

Cui Chong acted like he was very familiar with Li Ran.

Li Ran felt a chill run down her spine. She frowned and said in an unfriendly tone, “It’s nothing. Lin Ke, let’s go.”

“Is this all that you get to eat?”

However, Cui Chong blocked her way.

“It’s alright. I’ll give you my food instead. Here, I haven’t touched it yet.”

Cui Chong placed his bowl on the table. Then, he walked behind Li Ran and placed his hands on her shoulders. He abruptly pushed her down to her seat.

Lin Ke stared at the food with her mouth agape.

Besides the rice, there was even a drumstick.

Additionally, it was paired with a bowl of soup.

What kind of status did he have?

He must have some power and control here.

Everyone’s gaze shifted to the food.

They started talking among themselves.

“I don’t even remember the last time I got to eat some meat. Give it to me! I can eat ten plates of it!”

“Who is this woman? She actually knows the supervisor here. See the tag on his chest? He’s the person in charge of this canteen.”

“D* mn! This is so unfair! I want that kind of luxury too!”

Cui Chong arranged for someone to serve Li Ran a couple of dumplings. He even got a plate for Lin Ke.

Lin Ke immediately took the plate. She was shocked.

“Thank you.”

She looked at Li Ran, who still had a darkened expression on her face.

Lin Ke gently kicked Li Ran’s leg, signaling her to eat!
