Chapter 24 - Kill Them All (2/2)

Cui Chong pretended to be relaxed and nodded.

He smiled bitterly and said, “Unfortunately, we seemed to have been discovered.”

Then, Cui Chong stood up.

Li Ran was startled. She quickly stood up as well and looked around.

There were zombies who were slowly walking towards them.

They came through the back door while more were coming from the front door.

Li Ran dug her nails into her flesh. She was trying to come up with a plan. Maybe if she acted as bait, she could lure the zombies away. It would give Cui Chong an opportunity to run away. After that, she could just hide in the mysterious space.

‘It will work.’

Just as Li Ran was about to say something…

She was suddenly pushed. Her body hit one of the shelves. The loud noise attracted the zombies. They were now all rushing towards her.

Li Ran fell to the ground. She did not have time to run away.

On the other hand, Cui Cong ran out without any hesitation.

Li Ran laughed at herself.

The zombies bared their fangs and brandished their claws as they charged at her. Some of the zombies had intestines stuck to their bodies while their hands were covered in blood.

They could not resist the temptation that was living humans.

Cui Chong glanced back and saw that Li Ran was completely surrounded by zombies.

It would be impossible for her to escape.

He took this opportunity to save himself and dashed off.

Lin Nan and Fang Lin happened to see this scene.

Fang Lin tightened his grip on his gun. Just as he was about to shoot, Lin Nan rushed like a bolt of lightning towards the crowd of zombies.
