“Can I trouble you to bring the rope over?” he asked with a smile.

Li Ran lowered her guard after hearing Cui Chong’s mellow voice and words. She could feel that he did not have any ill intentions toward her.

It should be alright to follow him.

“Thank you. You teamed up with them?”

“I was rescued by them. There were a total of six people besides me. A middle-aged couple, a little boy, a huge man, and two more men.”

“You think so?”

Cui Chong’s smile widened when he saw that Li Ran was more relaxed.

She nodded, “I’m sorry I was wary of you.”

“No big deal. After all, your husband saved my life. You know, the other person has a gun and he’s really handsome.”

Li Ran was thrilled.
