[Ding!]

A system notification appeared of his mission completion, but John only took a glance at it. What's he's more concerned is about his body.

”What is happening to me!?”

John is becoming panic, he doesn't know what is happening to his body, why did he suddenly felt so weak.

Then a notification from the system answered the question as to why he felt weak.

[Ding!]

[The host is feeling the backlash from losing a large amount of mana permanently in such a short amount of time.]

”Huh?”

John read the notification and calmed down a bit. He opened up his Status Menu to look at the decrease of mana that the system is talking about.

A frown appears on John's forehead as his eyebrows lock tightly.

”There is a large amount of mana missing,” he said, ”Just where did it go... hmm... is it because of that!?”

John remembers the feeling he felt earlier when he was multiplying Mark's Attack Stats earlier.

”Sigh... I did not expect that to have a backlash.” he sighs tiredly as he sat up from his bed.

He was starting to gain some energy but still felt weak. He felt like he got hit by a car just from the tiredness that he is feeling.

After resting for a bit, he can stand up again, he walks slowly to get to the kitchen.

With his slow speed, it took him 2 minutes just to get to the kitchen which he can usually get there with just a few couples of seconds.

Sophia saw John walking towards the table and said, ”What did you do, son? Why do you look so tired?”

She looks at the dark circles on John's and also saw that his face looks so pale. She looks surprised and a second later, a worried look appeared on his face.

She approaches John with hasty footsteps and places her hands on his forehead when she arrived beside him.

”Hmm... you feel a little hot, this might be a fever. You should go and just rest tor today. Don't tire yourself. I will cook some porridge, so just wait there for a bit.” she said.

John nodded his head, he really felt tired and it seems like because of that, he caught a fever.
