18 Mission! (1/2)

After some time, Sophia calm down herself and ask John,

”Is this also all from you power?”

”That's right, mom!” answered John, feeling smug.

Sophia look at John with a very serious look, ”John, you have to promise me. You will not tell that you can do this kind of thing to anyone, do you understand?”

With how Sophia speak, John learn of the seriousness of what he is in.

He thought of what could happen to him if ever someone with evil intention or just plain ambitious person know of his powers. Won't it cause him to be captured if that person is powerful, or maybe there is something out there that can steal powers. If that ever happen what is he going to do?

Well maybe the system can help him, but he need tokens to buy powers there and to get tokens he need to complete quest.

What if he ever need his power on a quest but his power is already stolen by others, what is he going to do.

He shiver at the thought of many possible things that can happen to him. And was only woken up from his thoughts by the voice of his mother calling to him.

”John” she look at his eyes with grave seriousness, ”Promise me.”

John then said, ”Okay, I promise mom.”

”That's good” Sophia said, ”For now I'm going back to sleep.”

”What about this gold coins?” ask John.

”We'll talk about it tomorrow.”

Then she walk towards her room, mumbling some things that John can't make sense of.

Hmm... I should also get some rest.

John walk to his bed and drop down his body.

”Ugh...so comfy”

Seeing a mission issued fully woken up John. And it's not just one, But two mission!

John felt so happy and he is over the moon that he almost started jumping in joy.

Well... that is until he read the second mission.

His smile froze, and the smile on his face slowly bended as he felt unhappy.
