”Mr. Lu and Mr. Li, our manager Su, has especially sent these drinks for you.” The waitress specifically put the glasses in front of Lu Yuchen, the white wine, and in front of Li Yan, the red wine, as she had been told.

”Manager Su.” Lu Yuchen murmured and amazedly looked at Li Yan as he knew about that heartbreaking story of how ruthlessly Li Yan treated the crybaby Su Wan.

Li Yan knew what Lu Yichen was trying to say with that look but he ignored him and drank the wine which the waitress served.

Although he was feeling strange as he came many times to this club and Su Wan always tried to avoid him, then why did she send this drink to him and especially it was his favorite red wine.

What did this mean?

Although Li Yan was always wary of his drinks, who knew what type of content someone would put in his drink and make him pay for it, this drink was from Su Wan so he unknowingly trusted her and drank it without further thought.

”Xingjuan's delivery is due in a few weeks and she is having a cold war with Lingtan.” Li Yan suddenly remembered Mo Xingjuan's childish talk which he had with her a few days before.

”Cold war for what?” Lu Yichen immediately asked.

A few minutes before, Lu Yichen didn't seem to be interested in talking about anything and now hearing about his friends, he immediately got interested and wanted to know about it more. Perhaps, his friends were the only thing in his life that was good so he didn't want to miss out on anything regarding them.

Just like when Li Yan got to know that Lu Yichen was here, so the former understood that the latter must be in a bad mood and therefore, the former came here to give company to the latter even though the former had said nasty things to the latter but the latter didn't get angry and leave him.

And this is called a true friendship where friends do things for you without any hope to get anything in return.

With that, both friends started talking about Mo Xingjuan and other gossips about their gang, however, this friendly gossip didn't last for too long as Li Yan started feeling that something wrong with his body.

He didn't know what.

Therefore, he decided to take his leave before it got too late for him. Lu Yichen wanted to come with him but Li Yan stopped him and left the room to go straight to the men's washroom.

”Are you sure it will work?” Lin Shashi nervously asked.

Although she knew that Li Yan would definitely be angry at her, it was his fault he didn't leave her any other choice. Therefore he shouldn't blame her.

”Just a meal. No way, you deserve more than that. Once I will get married to Li Yan, I will fulfill any wish of yours.”

”Really? Thank you, Shishi.” Qi Yunyun happily replied.

Alas...perhaps… with the help of Lin Shashi being Li Yan's wife, she could also get married to Lu Yichen.

Then she didn't have to worry about her future as the Lu Family was far richer than her Qi Family. So obviously, once Qi Yunyun married Lu Yichen, her and her family's future would be bright.

Qi Yunyun started daydreaming but she didn't know that daydream would never come true.
