The next morning, the entirety of City B was in chaos because of the Zhou Family. Their evil deeds were exposed in front of the world. Even Zhou Xiaoyan couldn't escape from it. Since it involved the national interest, the special force of police soon reached the Zhou mansion and attested the husband and wife.

The police had taken Zhou Lizhong to the hospital while they took Zhou Xiaoyan to the police station for interrogation where she refused to believe her life was going to hell.

She had harshly got treatment in the infirmary and thereafter, she was taken by the police into the interrogation room where she couldn't take the pressure and confessed to everything.

Zhou Lizhong's rib had been fractured, however, he was operated on at the appropriate time, so he was out of danger now but because of this he would be bedridden for months.

After a few days, the news had come up that Zhou Lizhong had also confessed his crime. However, the citizens didn't know that he had confessed his crime in interrogation not by the police but by Xiao Tao's men.

In exchange, the police had declared that Zhou Ziyao had committed suicide instead of revealing the real reason behind her death.

In a month, both Zhou Lizhong and Zhou Xiaoyan had been taken to court for a judgment of their punishment which was just a part of the procedure which had to be followed in front of the public while their actual punishment had already started and Zhou Xiaoyan already tried to commit suicide. Dismally, she wasn't able to do that also.

When Zhou Lizhong and Xiaoyan reached the court, they were welcomed by a showing of rotten tomatoes and eggs.
