Chapter 43 (2/2)

Giggling, Su Xiao’ai said, “I wanted to understand you better, so I consulted Special Assistant Xun about some of your work-related matters.”

Master Jun believed her and did not say anything else…

Standing beside them, Xun Anyi was utterly impressed by Su Xiao’ai! She was daring enough to lie to Master Jun without any qualms and fear of being exposed!

As soon as Master Jun and Su Xiao’ai returned home, Jun Ziyan rushed to them and asked, “Evil stepmother, did you go and check if my Daddy is cheating? Did you catch my Daddy and another woman redhanded?”

Master Jun glanced at Su Xiao’ai coldly. So… she was checking if he was cheating on her!

Su Xiao’ai had goosebumps. Smiling awkwardly, she looked at Master Jun. “Hehe… Hehe…”

Jun Ziyan said in disdain, “Evil stepmother, do you not know that ‘hehe’ is in the list of the top ten most hurtful Internet lingo?”

“…”

Glaring at Jun Ziyan, Su Xiao’ai wished she could seal Jun Ziyan’s lips! Why did such a young child talk so much? Why was he such a precocious child? Why did he know so much?

“Daddy…” Looking at Jun Wuwang, Jun Ziyan said seriously, “You should divorce this evil stepmother. Even the most basic trust in a couple’s relationship is missing between the two of you. When you are out, your wife suspects that you are cheating on her with another woman and goes to catch you redhanded with overconfidence. Daddy, what’s the point of this marriage? You should divorce her as soon as possible.”

Divorce?

As soon as Su Xiao’ai heard this, she was determined to not let that happen. She had already married Jun Wuwang and slept with him. On the other hand, he had not provided the Su Corporation with funds to help them tide over the crisis. How could they divorce just like that? Wouldn’t she be on the losing end?

“Who… said that I was trying to catch him cheating on me?” Su Xiao’ai straightened her back and glared at Jun Ziyan furiously. “Jun Ziyan, don’t distort facts. I was worried about your Daddy, so I went to look for him. We are exemplifying the saying that goes, ‘A wife sings her husband’s tune.’ Oh, don’t you think so, Hubby?”

Su Xiao’ai asked Jun Wuwang.
