Chapter 19 Plan to return (1/2)

Dang, it was the first thought Lillian had. Anna is her friend from school. In fact, they were classmates. She is one of those people Lillian trusts and was able to share anything with them. It is all good and sweet but now; seems pretty dangerous with Lucy around. Lillian avoided the panic and tried to maintain a composure as she spoke with her friend.

However, the problem was she doesn't know what to speak. While Anna on the other end kept waiting, waiting and waiting for Lillian to reply.

”As I expected from you.” Anna shrugged. She guessed the reaction, obviously.

”What?” Lillian fought a battle against the silence.

”Where are you now? and with whom?” Anna realized to gather information before actually, attacking her friend.

”I'm in Vegas with my GIRLFRIEND Lucy,” Lillian stressed the 'girlfriend' part to inform Anna that now's not the time to talk about Giselle or that you have already met her.

”Oh, girlfriend?........ I don't care. But I need to talk to you. Call me later or text me. I HAVE to... talk to you.” Anna stressed the importance of the conversation that they need to have in the future. Lillian agreed and settled her down with an assurance to contact her later.

Just then, the breakfast was delivered to their room and Lucy came out in her bathrobe; looking fresh and clean. She smelled good after the shower. The breakfast table was set and Lucy immediately sat down to have some food.

”Hmm... bacon and eggs. God, I love breakfast.” Lucy indulged herself into the aroma. Right away, she digs into that delicious breakfast. Lillian who still was on her phone noticed that Lucy was enjoying her food. Keeping a firm gaze at her, she decides to accompany her casually. Lots of food sharing and feeding each other moments took place. They looked like those newlywed couples enjoying on their honeymoon.

”So, did you talk to your manager?” Lillian asked her to know the details.

Lucy exhaled. ”Yeah, I have a shoot with this new designer and she chose me as her model. It's pretty neat and good opportunity. I'm thinking about it.” Lucy replied seriously.

”We can leave after breakfast.” Lillian decided naturally.
