5 A New Day (2/2)

WITH THE GUY YOU LIKE, I THINK YOU NEED TO BE MORE AGGRESSIVE.

AFTER SO LONG I THINK YOU DESERVE LOVE!

~EMILY

P.S. I TOOK THE LAST PIECES OF PIE. THEY ARE JUST TO GOOD. MY

FUTURE BROTHER IN LAW WILL BE VERY HAPPY.

This note made me smile until I read the last part. She took the last pieces. I breathed in then out, and let it go. It was a little bit to sugary.

After reading the note, I put it back down and hopped into the shower. I had the hobby of taking lengthy showers. I gave me time to think and process everything. I knew Emily was right. If I wasn't more direct nothing would happen.

When I finally got out of the shower, I put on a towel and blow-dried my hair. I walked in my closet then chose a white blouse with a black blazer, and a tight fitting, black skirt that reached my knees. I tied my hair into a high ponytail. Finally I put on some simple black pumps.

I grabbed my purse and headed outside. My driver was waiting outside. He held the door open and I stepped inside. I put on my seat belt and leaned against the window. Traffic was slow, but we eventually arrived. I walked through the doors and was immediately greeted by everyone.

It's these moments when I realize I'm in charge of everything. It felt a little overwhelming at first, but I got used to it. As I was about to go into my office, I was greeted by Leon.

”Good Morning”

I said good morning back and closed the door. While I wanted to be more direct I realized I had no idea how. Yesterday I didn't get much done, so I immediately dived into my work. Before I knew it, it was time to meet my father.
