16 Summer Plans (1/2)

After the final exams were done, Ji Liu went back to The Base and called all of his monsters. He current only have 9 monsters since he decided that having an open slot would be better to plan to get a better monster fusing result. After checking their status. He listed their types and his goals for his favored monsters.

Crystal Azban (Xiao Cike) – Illusion / Crystal

Rust-Crested Goshawk (Xiao Su) – Steel / Poison

Swamp Hi-Orc (Jinao) - Swamp

Venom Crab (Mr. Krabs) – Poison / Water

Winter Swamp Scorpion (Zhao) – Ice / Swamp

Mud Ent – Wood / Earth / Water

Mining Mole – Earth / Metal

Sea Lion – Water

Flying Gun Shrimp – Wind / Fire

He wanted to avoid fusing Xiao Cike, Xiao Su, Jinao, Zhao, and Mud Ent but they disagree. With the help of Mud Ent and Jinao acting as interpreters, they came to a conclusion instead that Ji Liu would discuss with them what they want to fuse with and when.

It was decided that Xiao Su being already 8th stage Silver level would first wait to get to the 9th stage then fuse with a humanoid 9th stage Silver level monster to become a humanoid Gold level monster. Xiao Cike was convinced by Ji Liu to not fuse but wait for it to undergo its special evolution and then decide what it wants to do.

Zhao would not budge and was adamant to fuse with any dual type combination of Water / Light / Wind monster to be a weather / swamp type which it wanted. Weather being a type combination of Water / Light / Wind / Ice hypothesized by Ji Liu during his research.

Jinao wanted to have better survivability and variety in offense and asked to be fused with the result of the Mining Mole and Sea Lion since the Mining Mole have the [Earth Movements] ability similar to Mud Ent's and the Sea Lion have the [Water Overcharge] ability.

Meanwhile, Mud Ent wants to fuse with the Flying Gun Shrimp to have flames as leaves in order to look more intimidating while also getting a strong long-range attack if it acquires the Flying Gun Shrimp's [Fire Overload] ability paired with its [Body Control].

Muscles are the source of power when a regular punch is thrown but if a punch with [Element Attack] is thrown, muscles and the monster's core is used as the source of power. Using monster's core as the sole source of power would need the [Element Overload] ability to be effective.

Having [Element Overload] is like having legs when running, you can still run without legs but better if you have. Xiao Su was such a case where it can only display 1/10 of its strength if it used its [Steel Attack] shooting a gust of wind.

His monsters resumed training after the meeting and Ji Liu decided to fuse the Mining Mole and Sea Lion for Jinao before heading to sleep.
