Lucian tightly pressed his lips together, not saying a word.

”What the hell is going on, Mr. Jonny?” It was Jonny who had answered her phone. When Courtney heard that Amelia was in the hospital, she called a taxi right away.

Frightened, Shelly took a step back. She glanced at Courtney in both guilt and fright.
