”Lucian, I can't stay calm when I'm in trouble.” Amelia pushed herself out of Lucian's arms and looked at his worried face with guilt.

Lucian smiled faintly and caressed her cheek. ”You don't have to say sorry to me. As long as you are happy, I am happy.”

Although she was concerned about Vernon, she didn't say anything about it. She thought Lucian would waste his valuable time worrying about her.

When Lucian was at work, she called Courtney to ask for help.
