Chapter 140 Extreme Torture (2/2)

As soon as he found out that Amelia had left the villa, he immediately went out to look for her. He also asked most of his friends to search for her in the city.

Amelia didn't wake up until the following night. When she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw were the white walls and the strong smell of disinfectant fluid immediately filled her nose. With that, she knew she was still alive.

She looked around and noticed that Lucian was lying on the bed, holding her hand tightly.

Amelia slightly moved her finger which woke him up right away.

”Amelia...” he whispered softly, his eyes still half closed.

Her heart was immediately filled with warmth.

”Are you okay? Are you feeling any pain?” he asked nervously as he stood up, a worried look on his face.

Amelia's lips were dry and parched. Putting on a wry smile, she said, ”I'm fine.”

”Don't move. I'll call the doctor first.” Lucian was enlivened now that Amelia was finally awake.

Amelia felt sore all over her body and her eyelids still felt heavy so much so that she fell asleep once again.
