B. 17 Feb. 1807, at Sh.o.r.eham in Suss.e.x; m. 1835, the eld. dau. of the late Thomas Sharp, Esq., of Coventry and Leamington, Warwicks.h.i.+re (she died 1851); has issue four dau., and one s. Formerly of the firm of Edwardes and Hunter, Sydney, New South Wales; retired from business 1840.

A director of the National Bank, the London Chartered Bank of Australia, and Cape Town Railway; a member of the Society of Arts (_Garrick and City Clubs_; _Parkcres_, _Worthing_, _Suss.e.x_).

A justice of the peace for the county of Devon; journalist and proprietor of the s.h.i.+pping and Mercantile Gazette dairy newspaper; an F.R.G.S.

Youngest dau. of the late Rev. H. Randolph, rector of Letcombe Ba.s.sett; m. 1849, Col. Sir Belford Hinton Wilson, K.C.B., who died in 1858.
