25 Visiting Parents. (1/2)

I open the door of the apartment with a resigned expression, thinking to see them angry. Surprisingly, I see them smile at me and Selena takes me in her arms as soon as she sees me and then kisses me on the forehead. As soon as Selena separates from me, it's Steve's turn to hug me. It gives me a lot of pleasure but are not they supposed to be angry? I start asking myself questions about this sudden change of mood, hoping that they thought about it and accepted my relationship with Leo, hence the surprisingly pleasant reunion. Steve and Selena sit in front of me and Cindy on a chair while we are on the couch. Cindy still does not seem very relaxed but my parent's mood being good, I tell myself that there is nothing to fear and that she should release a good fart to relieve the pressure.
Selena looks at my clothes and appreciates them. ”You are very cute Lisa, much prettier than in your outfits all leather. Emie could not come, tonight she's having a dance competition.”
It's true that I got used to dressing in this more classic to avoid more problems. ”Thank you, yes she told me on the phone. As for my clothes, now I like that kind of dresses and It' comfortable, so it's no longer a torture to wear them.”
She laughs. ”You know that your rendition in the movie is hugely popular in the United States. You became famous my beauty. It seems that your agency in agreement with Isabel Marant will allow you to return to New York a few days after Fashion Week because the requests for interviews are multiplying.”
I smile, happy to go back and stay a little near them. ”I'm not very interested in the spin-offs of my film and as I have no control over my fan club on the internet, I never go there. The result, I am no idea what critics or the general public think of me as well as my interpretation. In addition, I am too busy at the moment to concentrate on anything other than my training.”
”Yes we realized that your freedom in general was too limited in terms of your personal and professional choices and we will try to fix that or at least try to convince them to give you a little more because you will end up to demotivate you if they continue to employ such methods. ”
I totally agree with that. ”I already told them but nothing changes unfortunately.”
Steve scratches his nose. ”Lisa, just now we will go for a walk all three. Finally seeing someone would be the right word.”
Before accepting, there is something that comes to mind. ”Tell how did you get to Paris as fast? And who will we visit? ”
Steve laughs. ”We have a private plane, my daughter darling, that simplifies things and shortens the duration of the flight. When it comes to the person we will be visiting, it's two people. I contacted during our flight a few acquaintances here and was able to obtain the number of the producer Archeville. I called him, explained the situation and he will also be happy to clarify the relationship between his son and you. His son will of course also be present.”
