“Lu Qiu.” After Lu Qiu barely squeezed out a smile towards the three humans, he watched the panicked expression of the young female and the somewhat submissive youth.
“There’s no need to be afraid cla.s.smate Xia Ying, I’ll protect you.”
The yet ** immature high school senior seemed to have some interest towards his female cla.s.smate – when ordinary people experience such an enormous change, the resulting shock wouldn’t let them relax their spirits, ** their ability to adjust would have a slight spike.
Sun Qi patted Xia Ying on the back in order to comfort the young female, but also to comfort himself.
“Tst! Children, stop playing around.” Finally, the other male spoke, he shot Lu Qiu a glance, then moved the a.s.sault rifle in his hand in order to show dominance: “Laozi‘s name is w.a.n.g Hu, regardless of the cause for the ruin of the world – anyway, I’ll tell you all this.”1
“From now on, you’ll obey me! Otherwise, you’ll eat a bullet, understood?! Laozi had already determined the fate of five people!”
After listening to the brawny male called w.a.n.g Hu speak – he must be a member of a nearby underground organisation, else he wouldn’t have a gun.
“Yes … yes …” Sun Qi agreed with a trembling voice, as he was fearful of the brawny male. If it wasn’t for the brawny male, him and his cla.s.smate would have already become those monsters’ food.
“…” Lu Qiu didn’t answer the male, but pushed silently his gla.s.ses to express his dissatisfaction.
w.a.n.g Hu stared at the silent Lu Qiu and suddenly was in a bad mood, but then Lu Qiu suddenly spoke.
“The three of you ran till here, aren’t you hungry by now?” Lu Qiu eyes under the lens emitted a friendly radiance: “There’s food in the kitchen within the freezer – don’t hesitate to say if you’re hungry.
“You’re quite the tactful fellow!”
w.a.n.g Hu was indeed already famished – he hadn’t eaten from the early morning, when he escaped amidst the chaos, up to now. He shot a glance towards Sun Qi that was sitting on one side of the sofa and trying to catch his breath.
“You’re still not hurrying to look for some food?”
“Uhh … yes!” Sun Qi shyly a.s.sented and went to the kitchen, but after seeing the scene in the front of him, his stomach suddenly turned over and he couldn’t help but puke.
The smell of blood irritated his nose, the flesh and the clothing made Sun Qi realize that this was something that those creatures left behind!
“Motherf.u.c.ker, what happened?” Hearing the vomiting sounds from the kitchen, w.a.n.g Hu stood up and went over – after sensing the smell of blood, even as somebody that had already killed people, he couldn’t help but to wrinkle his brows.
Now only the female high school senior and Lu Qiu remained together in the living room.
Lu Qiu was observing her, she’s unexpectedly a beautiful young female.
A refres.h.i.+ng single ponytail with a slightly youthful appearance, Lu Qiu almost failed to suppress his inner desire!
Only, there was still the guy that held the a.s.sault rifle, Lu Qiu really didn’t liked his meal being disturbed.
Patience … Vampire is a race known for their patience.
“Thank you for saving me.” Lu Qiu was sizing up the young female called Xia Ying, while she was doing the same to him. She had tear stains on her cheeks as she gave a reluctant smile.
Lu Qiu’s outward appearance was indeed very attention grabbing, him with the gla.s.ses gave off the feeling of some reliable ge-ge.
“Ah, you look like such a tasty and pretty young girl, such a pity that you can’t be saved.”
Xia Ying doesn’t know what he means by taste, he should have meant beautiful.
She wanted to continue to ask Lu Qiu about something, but then the two people finally came out of the kitchen.

While w.a.n.g Hu was holding a bunch of canned meat.
This is precisely the gap … in people’s capabilities ** during the apocalypse, no ** capability results in a gap between people.
Lu Qiu silently looked at this scene.
“Sorry …” Sun Qi knew that this was not enough to get full, but the other man monopolized all the food, only leaving behind this bit.
“En … it’s ok.”
Xia Ying unexpectedly didn’t had the personality of a big city’s spoiled girl, as she gladly accepted this poor dinner.
“I … I will protect cla.s.smate Xia Ying.” Sun Qi greeted his teeth: “I must … will let you eat something better.”
So that’s why it is said, ah, youths in p.u.b.erty act like a Chuunibyou.2
w.a.n.g Hu did not speak, he’s been hungry to the extent of being ravenous, he was consuming huge portions of canned meat and what he hadn’t finished eating, he directly spilled on the on the ground to waste.
Sun Qi had some complaints, but the brawny male’s stature and the a.s.sault rifle in his hands, made so that all of the complaints could only be swallowed.
“That … ah.” Xia Ying looked at Lu Qiu sitting there with his empty hands, she then broke her own compressed biscuit into two, she appeared to be intending to give some to Lu Qiu: “You’re … not hungry?”
Naive … Lu Qiu pushed his gla.s.ses as he looked at the young girl – during an apocalypse, her merciful heart will be her ruin – Sun Qi at the side had already swallowed the biscuits.
“I’m ok.” Lu Qiu shook his head: “i’ve already had my fill.”3
What I want to eat is you, ah! Lu Qiu’s eyes emitted a thirsty radiance, while staring straight at the young girl’s tender neck.
Tasty … delicious blood!
