The next day would be most awaited day, the press conference. Per Hana's conversation with Father Shen, she would be staying in the Diamond Hotel tonight, the venue for tomorrow's event, to avoid the possibility of being hindered on the way.

Only the two of them and the bodyguards were aware of this plan to make sure this information would not go to a wrong person.

”Ah Yue, be careful. Hopefully, nothing would happen.” Father Shen caressed the head of Hana while uttering that.

”Dad, think positive. I got the bodyguards to accompany me and I practiced some self-defense, right?” Although Hana was also worried, but negatively thinking would not improve their situation.

Father Shen almost rolled his eyes when he heard her while remembering those weak moves she was performing last time he saw her. ”Nevertheless, if you feel there's something amiss make sure to run, okay?”

”Got it, Dad. I'll be going now.” Hana kissed Father Shen's cheek and went to the car. She brought three bodyguards with her. Two sitting in front and one beside her.

There was nothing eventful that occurred as she was able to safely check in and enter her hotel room. Recalling the stressful past few days due to their planning and finalizing the event, Hana was able to finally relax and fell dead asleep after doing her nightly routine.

Alas, like the usual scenario, she was awoken with cold water that was poured out to her. Hana shivered as her whole body was wet due to it. She tried to open her eyes but there were water droplets entering. After blinking forcefully for a while, she eventually saw her surroundings.

Nothing surprising, Fang Bingbing was in front her with a smirk on her face together with her minions. However, she saw someone she did not expect, Zhuge Mingyu.

Hana tried to remember if there was a relationship between the two but did not ring a bell. It seemed like their connection was only known between their circle. Remembering the previous actions of Zhuge Mingyu towards her, he was actually subtly hostile.

She wiggled her body to check if the rope was loosened when she heard Fang Bingbing, ”Stop that idiotic move. Do you think we will not bind you tightly and let you escape? Do you think we are too foolish to do that?” Hana almost rolled her eyes, abducting her was not deemed as stupid move knowing they were already suspected? However, Hana did not anticipate the other party was really not aware they were considered as suspects.

Nevertheless, Hana was not sure how she got caught. She was confident when she fell asleep that nothing would arise, but it seemed like there was a conspiracy behind this.

”Stop thinking too much, Zhuge Mingyu's cousin owned that hotel.” Fang Bingbing felt being kind for the person who would eventually meet her demise, so she supplied that information.
