After Hana and Secretary Liu ate, they returned to their work desk respectively. Hana could not concentrate with her job because of her upcoming meeting with Lee Yitian. Luckily, there was nothing urgent tasks and the press conference preparation was already done.

Before her shift ended, it seemed like Lee Yitian knew her schedule as he sent right away a message that he was already waiting for her. Hana forgot that there was a time her meeting was late in the afternoon and she was with him. He even took her to the gym.

As soon as the elevator door opened, she saw Lee Yitian waving at her. She went near him and asked where they would be going. Hana was still full, so she suggested somewhere they could eat some light snacks.

Lee Yitian brought her to the nearest café and made sure no one would see them. They sat in a secluded place and ordered some food before asking her, ”How are you these days?”

”I'm good. You?”

”I'm fine too, thanks for asking.” There was an awkward silence after that.

To avoid it, Lee Yitian kept asking Hana what she did these last few days they did not meet.

Although it was just an idle talk, Hana secretly scoffed as she thought he was asking as if it matters. Nevertheless, she answered him politely like she was just at home doing her stuff.

”By the way, we will be having the press conference next week. I know we are all set but I just want to make sure everything will be fine.”

Hana sighed upon hearing that as the filler was getting longer, ”Do not worry, both of our sides are there to handle it. Seriously, what's the reason for this meet up?” She was getting impatient but she was not just showing it. Her attitude was different today as her Auntie just came.

”That…” Lee Yitian paused for a while before continuing, ”Are you going to attend the event next week.”

Hana knitted her eyebrows, the answer should be obvious, ”Yes, I am. As the Vice President and one of the heads of the project, my presence should be there, right?”

”Can you not attend?” There was some hesitation seen in Lee Yitian's face when he said that, and Hana noticed it.

”Why? Will there be something bad going to happen? Like… abduction or bombing of the event's place?” These were some of the situations usually happened in some novels and Hana remembered it. She just blurted it out and seemed she was right.

Lee Yitian got shocked but made sure Hana would not see his reaction. ”No… why would that happen?”
