12 Being a Rich Young Woman 12 (1/2)

Lee Yitian came at exactly 10 and when Hana heard about that, she wanted to throw temper. Luckily, she was still rational and stopped thinking about that.

Hana was not sure if it was intentional or whatnot, but it would really make a person annoyed. She did not plan to pursue it anymore and just focused on their meeting.

She invited him to her office and started talking about their cooperation. She thought that Lu Xiao Tian would be helping her but seeing he was not around, she guessed he only said that to comfort her.

Fortunately, they had a fruitful conversation and their business was moving on the right path.

”I thought you were just a decoration here in your company.” Hearing that rude words, Hana wanted to smack his face but luckily, she's still sensible enough.

”Where did you hear those rumors, Mr. Lee?”

”Well, I can't say exactly where but you know what I meant, right?”

”To see is to believe, don't you think that saying should be the right words to describe your new point of view?”

Lee Yitian just gave her a smile and said, ”How come you did not ask me why I was late?”

He thought that she might sulk like she did last time when she ended their call yet looking at her, she seemed like she did not even care.

It was his intention to come in late to check what would be her reaction. He really wanted to know if she's capable and mature enough to lead their side. It might look like a childish act, but it would still be a good way to see someone's response in a situation like that after all, she's handling now a business which could lead to losing a lot of money if not handled carefully.

Hana told him that she was actually busy before he came. Though it was a deliberate action, there was no need to mention about it. She's afraid to lose some face and she already told herself to be a bighearted person and no need to pursue it.

Acknowledging her reply, Lee Yitian invited her out to eat lunch.

'Seriously, why are those two guys always inviting me to eat? Can't they think of something else? Like movie or whatnot?' Hana knew they were just asking her out as a courtesy even so, it was not bad to daydream, right?

Hana declined his invitation as their relationship was not too close to eat alone together. Though they could call it as business lunch if ever they would eat out still, she was afraid to lose her appetite remembering what he did this morning.

After Lee Yitian left, Secretary Liu came in with a news that Hana believed should be one of those things that would manifest she's now a rich young woman.
