Just as she reached the elevator of their company, Lee Yitian called her.

”Sorry, I was with my Father dealing with some business. Are you still waiting for me?” Lee Yitian did not hear any response, so he kept on saying hello.

He realized that the call already ended when he looked at his phone. He really did not mean to leave her without notice but he was too occupied with those problems.

Hana did not mean to end the call but the signal got cutoff inside the elevator. Nevertheless, she did not even want to hear his explanation. This misunderstanding might become a future problem but she's too exhausted after waiting for nothing.

Apparently, Lu Xiao Tian was waiting inside her office. He wanted to ask what happened to their meeting but looking at her, he thought that it might not go well.

Hana did not want to sound like she's tattling nonetheless she still shared what transpired.

She was too stressed out for these last few weeks because of work. She thought that she would be able to leave the working life but no, it was embracing her and did not even want to leave her.

Lu Xiao Tian just smiled when he heard her and said that he would be helping her before leaving the company. Hana wanted to decline but thinking about it, it would be too awkward if she would be left with that Lee guy alone that next time they would meet.

He invited her to eat out with him again and Hana stared at him.

”Do you like me? You keep on inviting me even though I declined you a lot of times,” she did not immediately realize that she accidentally blurted out her thoughts.
