17 Stayover Part-3 (1/2)

I was embarrassed as hell.

I started thinking why me, is my luck that bad. Why every bad thing happens to me.

I guess I am the most unlucky guy in this world.

When I was thinking all that, Ria stood up and said

” let's go now.”

I don't know why but when she left she had a smile on her face like she was relieved.

When Ria also left, we were alone in the room and then Richy could not stop crack laughing,

He then stood up and said,

” You are so unlucky, man!

(pause)

But on a serious note, you missed this chance.

But brace yourself and try to confess her.”

By saying that he left the room.

We went to the dining room and had our dinner. Mom made a special turkey dinner like it was Thanksgiving.

After eating dinner Ana and Ria went straight to their room saying it's getting pretty late. We should sleep now, tomorrow we have our college.

With that, they left the dining room.

I said,

” Richy, you should also go and sleep now, I'll be back after cleaning the dishes. ”

After half an hour, Ana came down to fill up her bottle, I was still there cleaning dishes.

Since mom was very tired with the cooking, I took the initiative and send her to her room so that she could relax.

Ana said,

”Want some hand with dishes, ”

Since it was really getting late I said,

”If it's fine with you then, sure.”

She then helped me with dishes, at that time we were alone in the kitchen.

I said,

” If you don't mind, can I have your phone number,” I said that casually.

But she was startled with what I said,

” I just thought we are living together and we don't have each other's contact details.

So I thought I should ask your contact.

(pause)

I am not forcing you to give, ”

I said to reduce the awkwardness.
