17 Subduing The Devil (1/2)

As soon as the Devil moved, Hei Wang threw out a Non Attribute Elixir Crystal into air which turned into a puff and dispersed into the surroundings.

The Level 2 Devil ignored Hei Wang's little antics and rushed towards Little Fish, but a second later, he found himself facing Hei Wang and that his position had not changed at all.

”Did I go in a loop?” The level 2 Devil was confused.

Hei Wang smiled lightly before throwing another crystal into air. Like before the crystal turned into a puff and dispersed into their surroundings.

The Devil squinted his eyes as his attempt to chase after Little fish had once again resulted him in coming back to his starting position. ”Party tricks! As long as I kill you, I can get out of this loop.” He said and rushed towards Hei Wang. To make sure that no accidents happen, the Devil even summoned the stored power from his Devil core and fiercely pounced at Hei Wang.

Hei Wang was easily ripped away by the Devil's immense strength.

”Heh! What did I tell you! Party tricks!” The Devil rubbed his fist pridefully and chased after Little Fish.

But, once again, the Devil found himself back in his initial position. That hateful human who should have been killed by his previous assault was smiling at him as if he was seeing an idiot. This hateful human even had the gall to throw another crystal into air which followed its predecessors.

The Devil was mad now.

Devils were known for their violent and irrational nature, not to mention a Devil that had been locked away for its whole life.

With what the Devil would call as little antics, Hei Wang had successfully managed to make the Devil forget his initial goal and soloey chase after him.

But every time the Devil seemed to have gotten rid of this hateful human, there he would be, smiling like an idiot and making others want to punch his face.

Every unsuccessful attempt from the Devil to kill Hei Wang led to another crystal dispersing into air.

The Devil became increasingly crazy in such a loop and his decisions soon turned from something rational to completely irrational.

Hei Wang waited calmly till the hundredth crystal turned into a puff and sighed sadly. ”There go my whole stock of illusion crystals.” Others might not be able to differentiate the non attribute crystals, but Hei Wang with his spirit eyes could easily differentiate them.
