9 Old Scroll (1/2)

Feng Xue'er followed quietly behind Hei Wang. Hei Wang's previous words had made her realise his character. Hei Wang was someone who helped others to help himself.

Since she understood his character, she also understood the best path she must take on from now on. Only by helping Hei Wang would she be able to help herself.

She was already his slave, and it was neigh impossible for her to escape from him. Her only option had been to take his orders all along so why not accept his orders willingly.

At this moment, Feng Xue'er had something change in her. Her previous playfulness and childishness seemed to vanish and her face became cold without any emotions. It was a tough change for the little girl, but Hei Wang had forcefully destroyed her naiveness.

As Hei Wang had guessed, the Treasure room was guarded by a level 5 Goblin. But the level 1, future Dark King, was extremely calm when faced with this overpowered enemy.

”Roar!” The Level 5 Goblin Warrior squinted his eyes. Waving the huge axe in his hands he charged at the two intruders.

”Come here.” Hei Wang pulled Feng Xue'er towards him with her back facing his front. He placed the Rare arrow they brought across Feng Xue'er's common bow.

Placing his hands over hers, he calmly poured his strength into her body using the unique slave connection. His one hand held the front of the bow along with Feng Xue'er, while the other hand pulled the bowstring.

Hei Wang had ordered Feng Xue'er to shoot at particular locations previously, but this time he took it upon himself to guide her physically.

Pulling the bowstring to the maximum range, he paused and waited while Feng Xue'er's familiar body odour attacked his nose.

”Now!”

When the level 5 Goblin Warrior was 100 meters away, Hei Wang raised the bow, aiming at the Goblin's squinted eyes, he no longer hesitated to release.

”Whoosh!” The arrow left the bow at a fast pace, but the level 5 Goblin could easily dodge an arrow as fast as this.

But Hei Wang just had to catch its weakest point. The goblin had been charging at them with increasing momentum so changing directions forcefully now would only lead to internal injuries.
