Su Jin stood far away from the Blue-eyed Spider, watching from afar. He began to ponder about how he should attack it.
He could kill the Wild Boar King alone the last time because he had good skills. Moreover, the Wild Boar King’s skills were not of high level, and it was not difficult to defeat. Its HP was also low. One would not find it difficult to kill it if they were skilled enough. Even unskillful players could kill it if they dragged the fight and drained its HP.
The Blue-eyed Spider was different. It was tough to defeat, had a low error tolerance rate, and had powerful skills. There was practically no shortage of weaknesses.
Su Jin didn’t want to take the risk before he had the confidence to defeat it.
While he was deep in thought, the three Tyrant Guild players saw the Blue-eyed Spider too. Its enormous size proved the toughness to defeat it.
Most importantly, the solo player, who had always killed monsters whenever he met them, hesitated to attack the spider. That proved the three of them were right about the difficulty of the Blue-eyed Spider.
“That isn’t an ordinary monster. I should be either a boss or a special type of NPC.”
“It does look like a Boss. Won’t our Tyrant Guild be rich if we killed it?”
“We will be the ones who found this treasure. I’m sure our president will reward us for that.”
“The first Boss since this game upgraded.”
The three members of the Tyrant Guild typed and discussed excitedly. Su Jin would have heard the crackling sound of the keyboard if the players hadn’t been using virtual keyboards.
After a short discussion, the three of them sent a message to their guild president, Tyrant Knight.
Battling the first Boss of the server wasn’t something the three of them could do even if they slayed Su Jin.
No one knew about the Wild Boar King that Su Jin had killed previously, which led to the misunderstanding that the Blue-eyed Spider was the first Boss.
After sending the message, the three players hid and waited for a reply from their president.
While they waited, Tyrant Knight led thirty players and headed to the location his three members sent him. He wanted to teach Su Jin a lesson to make sure Su Jin wouldn’t be a threat to their guild in the future.
Hearing another notification alert, Tyrant Knight tapped open his message and froze.
“President, what’s wrong?”
The members of the Tyrant Guild stopped and asked curiously.
Tyrant Knight did not answer him. He stood there and pondered for a while before looking at the vice president and said, “We have a different priority now. Gather more players to follow us. Then arrange the low-level players to shield our whereabouts.”
“Gather the players with high combat skills, but don’t tell them why we are gathering them. Just tell them I have some important mission I want them to carry out. Brush them off with that for the time being.”
“Remember, tell everyone in the Tyrant Guild. Also, contact the Assassin Guild members while you’re at it. Let them know that we are gathering elite players and say nothing more.”
The vice president was confused. He had no idea why Tyrant Knight wanted him to gather so many players.
“President, please, at least let me know a little information about what is going on. Otherwise, it will be difficult for me to gather so many players at once.”
“Our three members that tracked the solo player found a Boss NPC. That is the first Boss. Although the level of the Boss is known, we still could make a fortune out of slaying it, couldn’t we?”
“I am not sure the truth of this information. That’s why I am asking you to make the arrangement discreetly.”
“It’s to prevent the spies in our guild from leaking the information. The other guilds might come to snatch the Boss.”
“We can cooperate with the Assassin Guild if we can’t defeat the Boss. All we have to do is owe them a favor. However, we will not need them if we can defeat the Boss.”
Tyrant Knight whispered and explained the situation to his vice president.
A smile bloomed on the vice president’s face. He looked around to make sure no one was eavesdropping. Then, he smiled, “Alright, I know what to do now. You can rest assured.”
