Chapter 143 - Racing (2) (1/2)

Ezekiel's initial reaction is a complete shock.

Misha smirked upon seeing her bad son panicked internally. She needed to teach him a lesson by defeating him on his own game.

The mountain pass near their villa is not that difficult but then the twist, is the blind spots of each turns gives the racers an adrenaline rush.

Misha sped up and overtook Ezekiel's spot which caught him off-handed. Just then, his own mind worked on his own. He stepped up the game and chased after the car. Misha looked at her side mirror and smirked at the car behind her. Her bad son is not bad at catching up with her.

She then returned her concentration to the road and she felt younger and memories brought back as she drove through the lane.

She remembered the feeling of the rashness in her youth that she didn't experience for a long time. Meanwhile, her bad son had a hard time catching up with her and he felt anxiety and fear. He never lost before and this will be like a dirt on his clean record.

He didn't expect that he would face a stronger opponent this time and much worse, it could be his mom or dad who's going to defeat him like this.

He maneuvered skillfully through the dents and blind spots- then skidded through the curves like a professional racer.

Ezekiel had been his doubts with himself. He was overwhelmed with the pressure given by his opponent and he could admit that it's effective on him.

During the first lap, he was defeated and was badly beaten.

The second lap of the race were given to him which was a huge blow to his ego.

He cursed under his breath and he's also helpless. He intially thought that it was good to beat his mother or even his father to prove his skills in racing but not like this.

Misha made sure that she blew her son's over confident self. It was such a bad habit to bring when growing up and she hate lies of all.

Ezekiel threw his water in frustration. He felt that he overestimated his opponent today which led him to lose the game.

Misha calmed her nerves down before going out from the car. Gabrielle automatically passed a bottled water to her which she gulped down.
