”What did you just say?” Kyler could not believe what he heard first so he asked again.

”Father's family is still alive and well in Korea. They had changed identities and faked their deaths just to make sure you will be accepted and spared of the impending disaster. They took that risk just to make sure that those who seek you will not implicate father... and from time to time, mother and father would visit them there... Just recently they haven't been able to because father is sick..” Lyndon said in one breath.

Kyler looked at him with evident disbelief in his eyes and could not utter any word. He suddenly felt that he's so petty of making plans of his revenge on his younger brother yet he didn't know anything at all!

His silence indicated that he did not know anything at all in Lyndon's understanding so he continued to say.

”We did not know that Lance King would undergo you in a plastic surgery. I only thought that he would change your name to another but I never imagined that he would be so vicious to change your appearance.” He looked at Kyler with a complicated emotion. He could not say the words he really wanted to say to him.

For the second time of his life, he was at loss for words.

Kyler didn't get any better.

Rodora seemed to fade in the background but the light and muffled sobs escaped from her which made the two men turn their attention towards her.

They both looked at their mother with pity on their eyes.

”Mother...” they simultaneously called out with tenderness and helplessness.

Rodora did not speak up but instead, she hugged them both in her small arms. Which the two men caught them off-guard.

”I'm so sorry my sons... *hicks* I'm so sorry... It's Mom's fault... It's all my fault...” she weakly utteredin between with her sobbing and hiccupping.

Lyndon's eyes began to sting but he stubbornly held his tears as he could not reveal that he's pained when he saw his own mother's self blame.

He could only shook his head and reciprocate the hug to his mother.

Kyler's eyes became red but the tears instantly fell on his cheeks without any warning. It was like all his grievances were pulled out in the open and expressed through his tears.
