94 More Enemies in the Dark (1/2)
Lyndon read almost all of his employees profiles. He found quite a number of his brothers spies but he could not do anything for now. He just wanted to see who were his enemies. If they were thinking that he had softened because he is now a family man and they see his family as a form of his weakness, well, they were wrong for thinking like that. He is still the same ruthless man that knows no boundaries when it comes to his enemies, even to his brother.
He did not became a top businessman in the name only and many of his enemies knew that. He was ranked at the top because he knows how to play his cards well. Even he would be dealing the devil himself, he wouldn't have second thoughts in bringing him down.
He investigated his brother's new identity and his company and the organization who backed him up. He knew that sooner or later, his brother would come and find them.
As much as he did not want to drag Misha and the twins within the mess his brother is about to create, he have to send them to the island where they could have a peaceful life before and during the war. He could not put them along with him on the front line.
After sending Misha and the twins to the island, he hired another nanny for the twins so that Misha won't have a hard time. He delegated Mary for another task so that the woman would not find it suspicious. He knew about Mary's capabilities and he knew that she was planted by Leo just to see their moves and to monitor their schedules. With this, he let Mary work for him. He assigned Mary as one of his personal assistant but aside from handling work related matters, she did not know anything from Lyndon.
Mary informed Leo about the changes and it made the man smirk out of amusement but he emitted a murderous aura after he deleted Mary's message.
”Lyndon... Lyndon... You never fail to amuse me... Keep your friends close but your enemies, closer...” as he clenched his fist because of anger.
Now that Mary is under his brother's strict supervision and Misha is nowhere to be seen, he could not help himself but feel challenged and this made his blood boil even more.
He search his contacts for a number that has not been contacted for a long time now. He could not wait for his brother to move. He planned to stike him down when he got to country A but it seemed his plans have to move earlier and before Lyndon could make his own plans of bringing him down.
After a few rings, a sweet voice could be heard.
”Hello...Young Master?” she was about to start her day but a call from his true employer is more important than anything else. She did not go out from their room as she anwsered the call.
”Corrine... How are you darling?” he asked flirtatiously. He knew his people well and he knew Corrine would not refuse him because she liked him, blindly.
”What is it young master?” the sweet Corrine asked him. She knew that the man called her for a reason because if not, he would not have done so. So, instead of playing along with him, she cut the chase and went straight to business.
