52 Wedding Vows (2/2)
He put away the cheat paper he had. It didn't help him anyway. He was just making an impromptu speech in front of her.
Finally! He can claim her to be her own. He will not worry over things and mostly, the misunderstanding was cleared. He can love her without any restraint.
The witnesses of their matrimony was moved and teared when they heard his vow. It was such a heartwarming vow from a man that was considered to be cold and distant. They were beyond ecstatic when they realized that Lyndon revealed that they knew each other way back since they're highschool years. To them, Lyndon's love was unrequited and truly one of a kind.
They even applauded out of the immense joy they felt during his speech.
Misha was smiling as she stared at the man in front of her. She blushed when he called her his little wife. It's a cute endearment for them as newly weds. She can't describe how happy she was and how nervous she was. Her nervousness soon faded as she filled it with warmth and excitement. She couldn't wait to say her piece to him.
The priest spoke after Lyndon handed the mic over and the priest handed it to Misha.
”I, Misha Lewis will take Lyndon Lincoln as my lawful husband, in sickness and in health; till death do us part. And, little husband, I just wanted you to know that I will be faithful in this marriage. As you say, NO SECRETS, NO LIES. Me too, don't want to pledge a vow that will not be fulfilled. I don't want to promise anything. I can guarantee that, after your long day of work, I will be there to welcome you home. To keep you in my life is one of the greatest blessing from our Almighty that I've ever received. And I thank you for accepting who I really am.” the last words were almost choked as it came out from her mouth faintly. She wanted to say another line yet, she did not finish her speech.
She couldn't control her tears anymore. They were rushing down on her cheeks as if it was chasing each other.
Lyndon squeezed her hand hard.
Misha handed over the microphone to the priest. Then the priest continued to officiate their wedding.
”I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride.”
said the priest concluding their matrimony.
He was about to kiss her but suddenly... BAAANG!
