31 Unexpected Gues (1/2)
It was already afternoon when they arrived at the manor. Lyndon instructed Butler Chen to tour Misha around while he proceeded to his room to rest.
”Yes. Young Master.” the kind butler complied.
”Quit calling me that.” Lyndon probed. He's not really used to young master thing. He preferred to be called sir or by his name directly. He didn't employed them to be his slaves. He employed them to help him around the house but that did not mean he treated them less than his family.
Misha looked around the manor. She noticed that it has very wide lawn. At the back of the manor is a forest where Lyndon would practice his shooting skills and hunt down animals.
Butler Chen the one who's been accompanying her, explained with care about the surroundings. She just nodded from time to time.
The tour ended just like a blink of an eye.
Misha's phone rang.
She immediately picked up the call because it's from the VS prod telling her to be on set that night at 8 pm sharp.
”Yes. I understand Rachel. See you then.” she said and pressed the end button on her screen.
Butler Chen ushered her towards the dining room. ”Young Mistress, snacks are prepared in the dining. I bet you are hungry..” said the kind butler.
”Sure, uncle Chen.” she gladly accepted the offer.
”Please Young Miss, don't call me that.” said the man with a worried tone.
”Then, don't call me young mistress. We are not yet married.” said Misa shaking her head.
'M-married? She's young master's fiancé?' asked Butler Chen. Before he could ask the question, a young maid came in to their direction and called out Butler Chen.
”Butler Chen, Miss Elizabeth arrived.” said the girl in low voice but enough to be heard by Misha.The butler nodded in response.
”Miss Misha, I am afraid I can't accompany you to the dining room but I will entrust you to Mary, she will guide you there in my stead.” he said.
”It's okay Uncle Chen.” she said knowing about the situation.
”Then let's go Miss Misha?” Mary asked her and started walking behind her.
'Another guest?' she asked in her mind.
They arrived at the dining hall with a table full of desserts and sweets.
