19 The Fairy Grandfather (1/2)
Misha was taken aback by the sudden change of Lyndon's attitude. She couldn't pinpoint it but there's something amiss in the situation.
They are heading back. As the old master is leading them, Lyndon take this opportunity to speak with Misha.
”Just play along. You wouldn't want to disappoint your grandfather right?” he said in a low voice, afraid of being heard by the old man.
Misha was startled by his sudden movement. It was because he purposely got near to her and whispered in her ears. She couldn't get off the sensation from it.
Lyndon has a raspy voice. One that could make a woman wobble their knees.
She's getting goosebumps from it.
She tried hard to get back to reality. She pinched her thighs in order not to lose focus on the situation.
'So, that was it! He's just pretending! What else can it be?' Misha formulated her assumptions. After that, she just smiled to him then nodded as an indication of obeisance.
The old man was happy. He couldn't be happier as he sees his grand daughter being intimate with her fiancé.
'Ah! How nice to be young!' he exclaimed in his mind.
Dinner came.
”Join us for dinner, will you?” the old man asked Lyndon. He was about to bid farewell but the old man enjoyed his company and was reluctant to let him go. Lyndon can't turn down his invitation so he just agreed.
”Sorry for the trouble grandpa.” he said apologetically.
”This kid really... Don't think about it. You are much very welcome here and we will be family soon, right?” the old man insisted. Lyndon couldn't help but smile. He's been so good to him since their first meeting.
'Ah.. So this is the feeling of having a grand father.' he thought. Soon, they headed to the dining room.
Meanwhile, Misha was obviously thrown aside. Aside from the business topics that she didn't have an idea, their main topic was about politics. As a woman and as a model, she couldn't have the time to read news and be informed about it. Her head ached while listening to them so, she went to her own room in the house. She had her own room in her grandfather's house because she lived there when her parents were busy establishing their modeling agency.
She showered and freshen herself up.
She picked a house dress and immediately went down for dinner.
As she was heading towards the dining area, Lyndon couldn't help but stare at her. He's mesmerized by her simple yet elegant appearance. He's staring at her wearing a blue floral dress. Her hair was tide up into an untidy bun. Some hair were loosely hanging down with her slender neck.
