2 The Weird Old Tiger Demon (1/2)
As a new day arrive in the Nether Realm, every single demons were excited. The demons, whether they are rich or poor will be able to attend the System Academy, as long as the Demon Emperor approves it and as long as they have the strength to win.
Just as numerous demons were going to apply for the Compet.i.tion to attend System Academy, an announcement was made by a bat-like old man.
Every demons in the Nether Realm knows that if the Demon Emperor wants to announced news, the bat-like old man, also known as Old Bat would be the one to announced the new.
Old Bat waited for a minute to make sure that every demon was still and quiet .
”The Crown Prince, The Devious Prince, and Princess Fox will be attending System Academy, without having to partic.i.p.ate in the Compet.i.tion.”
Old Bat pause for a second and he nod his head. He was satisfied that no demons opposed the order.
”As for the--”
*Cough**Cough*
A cough interrupted the Old Bat.
”What?”
The interrupter was a young tiger demon. Every demons could tell that the youngster was still a fledgling with no strength. His tiger ears and tails were in full view. What surprise the demons, as well as the Old Bat was that the youngster was wearing gla.s.ses.
As Old Bat stare at the tiger youngster, he felt like every secrets of his were seen through. Shaking off his unease, the Old Bat gesture at the young tiger demon.
”umm.. I understand why *cough* the Crown Prince and the Devious Prince could attend *cough* System Academy without *cough* having to partic.i.p.ate in the *cough* *cough* Compet.i.tion. Why *cough* *cough* is Princess Fox allow to *cough* *cough* attend System Academy? *cough* *cough*”
Old Bat pretended to not understand. The young tiger demon cough again, making Old Bat to raise his eyebrows.
”Princess *cough* *cough* Fox is *cough* *cough* not qualified.”
Old Bat just stare at the young tiger demon.
”You're not qualified to challenge the Demon Emperor.”
The young tiger demon nod his head.
”True. n.o.body is qualified to challenge the Demon Emperor.”
Old Bat stare at the young tiger, while the young tiger stared back.
”Although Princess Fox is beautiful, her strength isn't much.”
”True.”
”The young tiger is right.”
”The princess isn't qualified.”
”True. True.”
”She should partic.i.p.ate in the Compet.i.tion if she wants to attend the Academy.”
”The princess should follow the rule.”
”Yes.”
”No exception.”
Hearing the whispering of the crowds, Old Bat glared menacingly at the young tiger demon, while the tiger demon just coughed.
”It's the Demon Emperor's decision. Don't question it unless you want to be obliterated.”
The crowds of demons whisper again as they walk away.
”Wonder if the Emperor is getting senile.”
”Hus.h.!.+ Don't let the guards hear you.”
”True. True. More than the guards, I want to destroy the walls. The stupid freaking Walls has ears everywhere.”
