22 Chapter 22: (1/2)
”What do you want?” I question in annoyance, clutching onto my towel tighter when he raked his eyes over me in a l.u.s.tful gaze. ”Can you go away?” I snarl, going over to the closet and grabbing a s.h.i.+rt of his so I didn't have to put on pants.

He hadn't said a word to me which was strange but I didn't bother to deal with his mood swings right at the moment.
Dylan was such a drama queen.
I turned away, going to close the door of the bedroom but he was behind me making me yelp and narrow my eyes at him. His brown eyes staring at me as I shoved him away.
His eyes have never been brown...
They've only been green or black...
”Can you go, Dylan? I don't want to deal with you right now!” I yell at him, the door to our bedroom open as Sevetha walked by with a man on her arm. She smiled softly at me when I nodded to her, the door slamming shut by Dylan as I spun around to face him. ”Don't be an a.s.shole, Dylan! Just go away!” I yell at him, knowing they'd hear me but not caring.
He was being so... weird.
Before I realized what happened, he threw me against the bed making me yelp and scramble off of it on the other side. My eyes watched him frantically as he bared his fangs at me and marched on the other side of the bed.
”Dylan! Get away from me!” I scream, reaching for my blade but he caught me and tossed me against the wall. His dark brown eyes watching me, blood running down my jaw when moving my shoulder.
I cried out, realizing my arm had dislocated it when he threw me. My eyes snapped to him once he started moving closer to me, his deadly walk towards me making me s.h.i.+ver in fear.

”Are you hiding your mate from me or something? Where is the la.s.s that's got you in such a bad mood?” Mother questions, looking around for Khole as I sipped on a gla.s.s of wine and peered over at the castle.
When I went to find her, she'd been taking a shower and Agalana had told me she was going to sleep early tonight. That is if she truly could have a good night of rest.
”She is in our room. She isn't feeling all that well, so she's getting some rest early.” I told her truthfully, worried for my Valkyrie's wellbeing but knowing she'd only order me to leave. Or throw me out the window...
”That won't do. I am never here and this is my first time meeting her. I must see the woman with my own eyes.” Mother waved off, starting towards the castle as I hurried after her and grabbed her arm.
”She really isn't feeling well, Mom,” I tell her again.
”Is she pregnant?” Mother questions making me flinch away and shake my head quickly.
”No! What makes you think that?!” I yell at her as she shrugged and skipped inside the castle.
”Then there is no excuse why I can't see her. She's immortal and will recover from whatever she's going through.” Mother points out cleverly when we pa.s.sed by one of the twins and a demon general. The twin tilted her head at me, squinting her eyes at me before stopping midway down the stairs.
”How did you get down here before us?” She questions me, making both of us stop and look at her stupidly.
”What do you mean? I've been down here all afternoon.” I said incredulously when the demon general, Linoh, shook his head and patted her hand.
”No. We just saw you with the princess moments ago. You seemed fairly angry since she was undressed with the door opened.” Linoh notes making all of us share a look before a scream came from above.
I darted up the stairs as quickly as I could, barging into my room and seeing a man above Khole who was struggling underneath his hold. The man looked like... me.
”GET OFF ME, DYLAN! GET OFF!” She screamed, lightning flas.h.i.+ng outside when I felt my demonic s.h.i.+ft awakening. I roared, lunging towards the person and throwing him to the ground as my Khole covered her naked body with the sheets.
He'd tried...
I felt myself losing control, knowing I wouldn't get back in control until I had his head on a stake.

I watched in disbelief as two Dylan's fought one another, the only thing distinguis.h.i.+ng one another is that one was s.h.i.+fting and one wasn't. My heartbeat felt like a shotgun, the lightning outside brewing in danger as Dylan threw the brown-eyed Dylan into a wall.
All of this was so crazy that it hurt my head terribly.
