Chapter 14 (2/2)

Among those chasing Wu Yun, there were foreign forces, government forces, and gangsters, but more often, an aristocratic financial groups in Eastern Europe was fighting behind their backs.

The aristocratic financial group was famous in the underground. It was said to have been in the business for almost 200 years and was a family with a really long history.

Few people knew the details of the family, except that the owner was rumored to have a t.i.tle.

Qing Tian had a guess, but wasn't sure.

If it was really him, then why did he have to be so happy to add trouble for Wu Yun? Didn't he think that if something went wrong with Wu Yun, it would be too late for him to regret it?

Ever since he learned the information from Kuangmang's mouth, Qing Tian knew that he could no longer fight alone.

He needed strength, and help.

And the easiest thing for him to get was the property left by Dushe.

Qing Tian did not know whether what he was doing was right or wrong. Wu Yun had not asked him for more than a year, giving him full freedom and trust.

The more this happened, the more Qing Tian didn't want to give up.

Now, was the beginning of the start.

The ”Nushen” crystal was set in a ring and hung around Qing Tian's neck.

When his relations.h.i.+p with Wu Yun went further, he can give the ring to Wu Yun.

Thinking of this, Qing Tian could not help showing a smile.

The growth of his body had changed his face. He had lost a few points of delicateness, and was a little more handsome and das.h.i.+ng. He looked like a perfectly sunny youth.

In particular, this golden hair, it looked even more eye-catching.

Qing Tian left instructions, and when he was gone, someone would come and handle Kuangmang's funeral arrangements.

Now, all he hhad as to do was go home and continue to read and chat with Wu Yun.

Wu Yun's physical examination should be over, too.

When Qing Tian got home, he found one more person's shoes outside the room.

Was it Chen Yong?!

Qing Tian's heart seemed to have been seized by something, but after all, he was no longer the helpless child he used to be. He had to be more calm and act more like an adult in front of Wu Yun.

“Wu Yun, are there any guests?” Qing Tian opened the door, pretending to be relaxed.

There stood a man in a suit.

He stood pitifully in front of the bed, and Wu Yun sat by the bed holding books, without the idea of finding him a stool or asking him to sit on the bed with him.

It was a little weird.

But in Qing Tian's eyes, it was a beautiful scene.

Not Chen Yong.

Great!

The stone in Qing Tian's heart came down at once.

As long as it was not Chen Yong, it didn't matter who else it was.

“This is……” Qing Tian a.s.sumed the posture of a host and sat down close to Wu Yun.

Wu Yun frowned and separated a little.

“It's sunny, and not cold anymore. You don't have to stay next to me to keep me warm.”

And they still had air conditioning in this room, and Wu Yun didn't think the temperature changed very much.

But Qing Tian was very delicate, he was afraid of the cold and was afraid of the heat, it wasn't good to order too much*.

*Not sure: 叫乌云也不好太说他

“I'm used to it.” Qing Tian had no intention of leaving.

The man in the suit looked at the interaction between the two of them and his eyelids jumped.

Did he just have no sense of being? Did these two people think he was air?

“Allow me to introduce myself.” The man in the suit took out his work card. “I'm Carey Butch[1], special agent of the United Nations. Just call me Carey.”

“The United Nations?” Qing Tian quietly reached out for a knife.

“Don't get me wrong, I mean no harm.” Carey subconsciously felt wrong. “I'm just here to make a deal with you.”

“What deal?” Qing Tian thought it was even more strange.

“I have given the file to Mr. Wu Yun.” Carey pointed to the book in Wu Yun's hands.

It was only then that Qing Tian realised that Wu Yun was looking at a lot of doc.u.ments, not books.

“Let me see.” Qing Tian put his head over, waited until he saw the contents of the doc.u.ment clearly, and stared blankly.

These appeared to be doc.u.ments for the transfer of some a.s.sets, and there were even two biographical information sheets with a full range of doc.u.ments.

“According to our dealings with the Count, oh, who you call Chen Yong, these are all identification doc.u.ments obtained through proper channels, and part of the a.s.sets come from the Count's private sponsors.h.i.+p.” Carey calmly threw out the prepared words, “The count promised to help us clean up the darkness in the city of Sasimu, on the condition that you two be given proof of innocence and proper ident.i.ty. As long as you have these papers, you can settle anywhere you want. When you move out, we will send the army to officially take over the place. “

The author has something to say:

Footnotes:

[1] lit 凯里·布奇里斯/Kǎi lǐ·bù jī lǐsī

If those last two characters are part of the name, then it would've been Carey Butchris (“lǐsī” translates to “ris” like in “Morris”), but I'm not sure if they aren't part of Chinese sentence structure or grammar? So Carey Butch it is (also it sounds more like a real name).
