A library interior plate, having the inscription ”D. D. LE LEU D'AUBILLY, _dicat qui grat.i.tud coelo sculp Delaitre_.”
Beneath the design is a small s.h.i.+eld, bearing azur, a chevron or, between three wolves' heads. The D'Aubilly is an old-established Remois family, to whom the artist was under obligations.
This interesting plate is reproduced in ”Les Bibliophiles Remois,” p. 103.

On the handsome nameless armorial plate of Pierre Sarragoz, of Besancon, who died in 1649. Reproduced in ”Ex-Libris Ana.”
Pierre Deloysi, styled _Le Vieux_, was a goldsmith and coin engraver in Besancon.
Engravings by him are now very rare.
