Three bulky men along with their master, Zi Yan, were chasing after Nuwa. They were furiously shouting like barking dogs while holding long sticks, in order to punish her. Nuwa was crazily running like a frightened bunny, that was chased by a wolf pack, in the middle of a crowded bazaar. She was pus.h.i.+ng people to make her way out, so the folks were glaring and cursing loudly to the 'cat and mouse parade' for sudden disruption. However, the running figures totally neglected the surrounding malaise as they continued their ploy.

Nuwa was dead tired from living in the forest because of insufficient food and resources. She was always scared and had to be alert of suddenly encountering violent animals. Because of that, she was pa.s.sing sleepless nights and day by day, her physical condition was getting worse. Last week, she almost died as out of nowhere, a wild boar suddenly attacked her. It was so persistent that in the end, she thought it was her doomsday.

However, she got lucky that an unknown mercenary group was nearly pa.s.sing by. After rescuing her, they suggested her to leave the jungle. It was dangerous to live without mustering years of survival skills. After experiencing such a violent attack, obviously, she followed their suggestion and secretly returned to the capital. Since she had a lot of money, she was confident that she could hide without being noticed. But who knew that unfortunately, she would b.u.mp onto Zi family members on her first day!

After entering the city, Nuwa thought her first priority should be her outlook, mainly clothes because it was tattered and was too noticeable. So she went to a cheap clothing store to buy a few sets of robes. She bargained with a salesperson for a male outfit. She was actually planning to change her female ident.i.ty because it was impossible to loiter around. Her plan was to meet with the baker before she permanently left this country. Sadly, all of the plans were ruined when the vicious Zi Yun's eagle eyes noticed her in the middle of the crowd and secretly followed her.

After Nuwa was done negotiating with the shopkeeper, she took out some tales from her money pouch. The envious Zi Yun burned with rage and jealousy when she recognized the pouch. She was certain that it was young master's pouch. Obviously, she noticed a few times that Bai Qiang took out it from his sleeves. But now it was in that b*tch's hand! Moreover, it was filled!!!

'How dare she deceived him! No wonder she was after his money. Witch!!! It should be me who got his attention, money, and grace. He should be MINE only.'

Recently the Bai family was acting strangely. They were giving them a cold shoulder without any explanation. Bai Qiang even threatened her big brother to not follow Nuwa around.

And since then, for almost a week, they were chasing after Nuwa.
