5 Forming Bonds (1/2)
Slowly opening his eyes, Magna felt the world around him begin to rock back and forth. As he started to stabilize himself, Magna winced in pain as he could feel a burning sensation in his shoulders.
Giving himself a strong slap to wake up, Magna gazed at his shoulders and froze. Somehow, his s.h.i.+rt had been removed and on each shoulder was a small bite mark that seemed to have come from a dog. What puzzles him was the fact that Naruto's healing factor seemed to ignore it, even though he felt completely able to heal it.
Suddenly, a happy cry reached his ears before feeling a large and fluffy rocket headb.u.t.t him in the gut. Having the wind literally knocked out of him, Magna began coughing while a fluffy white tail happily wagged in his face.
”Luna, you should stop now. He only just woke up.”
Turning towards the door, Magna became stunned as the fierce blonde from before lightly gazed at him. She smiled gently before walking over to him and laying a large sack on the ground.
The heavy fragrance of roasted meat seemed to emanate from the sack as Magna swallowed deeply as a small line of drool ran down his chin.
The blonde released a light chuckle, which somehow prompted Luna to release a childish laugh as well. Picking up a clean rag from the ground, the blonde chucked it to him before cheekily muttering, ”Wipe your mouth Magna, your drooling.”
Taking the rag with a slight blush on his face, Magna cleaned the drool off his face and asked, ”What happened?”
The blonde sat next to him and opened the sack, revealing a large amount of roasted meat. Releasing a sigh, the blonde handed a piece to Magna and Luna before saying, ”You used up all your aura trying to heal my sister then collapsed.”
Taking a few bites from a piece of meat, the girl continued, ”I'm guessing you didn't know that aura healing takes up alot of aura and physical strength. You used up every last drop of aura in your body, causing you to faint.”
Magna noticed the small amount of worry in her tone but ignored it. Magna's stomach growled in hunger, earning a small chuckle from the blonde while Luna began laughing to tears.
Suddenly, Magna realised that he still didn't know the blonde's name. Laying down the roasted leg in his hands, he turned towards the blonde asked, ”Um… Sorry to be rude but I don't know your name yet?”
Wolfing down the roast in a manner completely unbefiting of a woman, the blonde released a small squeak-like burp before saying, ”Oh right, sorry about that. Hey, I got an idea. Why don't we introduce ourselves to each other?”
The blonde suddenly stood up while brus.h.i.+ng the dust off her, naturally away from the food. With a big smile she happily said, ”Turning 8 in 16 days as well as the oldest twin, the cute and lovely Argo. At your service.” Finis.h.i.+ng with a cute yet overly dramatic bow.
Pinching his arm as hard as possible, Magna desperately held in the urge to laugh. To his left, Luna jumped up with a spin, surprising Magna with how easy it is for her to move after having just healed.
”Also turning 8 in 16 days, the youngest twin. Luna!” Happily said Luna as she practically bounced around with a huge smile on her face.
Suddenly, Magna found himself the center of attention as both girls intently gazed at him in antic.i.p.ation. He thought to himself, 'They can't want me to do that… right?'
Before he could have any chance to refuse, both girls grab an arm each, completely stopping him from running away.
As Magna struggled in their grasp, his lips twitched as he yelled, ”But you guys already know my name!?!”
The sisters smiled to each other for a second before both switched back to looking at him. Argo leaned in close and whispered, ”It's just about the experience, Magna. By doing it this way, we can build a bond between us~.”
Luna also leaned in close from the other side as she whispered, ”Plus, it's fun. Come on Magna, don't be a party p.o.o.per~.”
