”The child still belongs to the orphanage, you can't take him anywhere without my permission,” George said.

”Who told you I was asking for your permission? I was informing you that I was taking him with me for the weekend” Marcel said after scoffing at him.

”I'll call the cops on you the moment you leave with him” George threatened and was immediately lifted even higher. Only the tips of his toes were able to touch the ground. Damien saw that things were getting out of hand so he stepped in.

”What will you tell them?” Damien asked and everyone's attention shifted towards him. It was actually a mystery how they were not able to notice him since he was even taller than Marcel and his blonde hair really set him apart.

George was completely stumped when he saw Damien. How could he have predicted that such a big shot would appear today? He was even carrying the reason he was arguing with Marcel in his arms.

Marcel picked up the bags that he had thrown on the floor in a fit of anger and walked towards Damien.

”Why did he change his mind about Liam?” Damien asked Marcel.

”He is saying that there is a trip with the kids of the orphanage this weekend and Liam HAS to be there. HOW SUSPICIOUS!” Marcel said as he turned to glare at George with his green eyes. He was very familiar with these trips.

”Is that so?” Damien said and looked at George. Marcel's reaction was too overboard for it to be something minor something must be going on with these so-called trips. Even though Damien wanted to investigate it he did not feel obligated to do so.

George, on the other hand, felt sweat drip down his back from the gaze that he had just received from Damien. He just hoped he wouldn't be nosy enough to investigate it.
