7 Building a Portfolio. (2/2)
Milly and Paul watched as Marcel's aura had changed when his gaze turned predatory.
”Exactly!” Paul shouted happily as he took several snapshots. Paul had been paid to make portfolios of a lot of models since he finished university two years ago, but this was the first time he met a newbie that was so talented.
”Milly go get the mattress, and white sheets” Paul shouted.
”You should get an assistant!” Milly shouted back but went to get the things anyway.
After a while Marcel was looking up at the camera lens as he was laying on the mattress with uneasy eyes.
”Isn't this too suggestive?” Marcel asked but instead of an answer all he heard were the sounds of the camera snapping his photos.
'Are you sure this is the right place? Is he really good?' Marcel asked Avian.
[All the models that were worked on by him at least had the opportunity to get to the final audition. The ones that were eliminated it was because they did not have the ability at all] Avian explained.
'If you say so, if by any chance this is a prank'
[I have no reason to prank you, I am also dependent on your success to function optimally] Avian reassured.
Marcel fully cooperated with Paul from then on, after taking a few hundred body shots and close ups in different costumes and Paul had even managed to make him take a picture in a pair of trunks.
When they were doneit was already past noon. The three of them sat in front of the computer trying to the best pictures.
”This is going to be hard” Paul said after ten minutes of staring at his screen.
”Why?” Marcel asked.
”You should have a maximum of twenty photos in your portfolio. It's not like it's a photo album is it?” Paul said. He had never made a portfolio for a new model with 20 photos, he would always end up with seven acceptable photos, but now he had almost 200 perfect photos to choose from.
”Why did you take so many?” Marcel asked feeling as if he had been taken advantage of.
”You specifically said you wanted to try out all themes when I asked you if you had a specific theme you had.” Paul complained.
”Can't I pick one of each?” Marcel asked.
”Your portfolio is mainly to show your image. If you put one of each won't you just confuse the recruiters?” Paul patiently explained.
”What do we do now?” Marcel asked.
”Pick two, we'll put eight of each and randomly select the last four” Paul said and left Marcel to choose.
