”Who is behind the entire project?” Professor Luo Xia moved on to the next question that he had since she showed an accurate consistency in her responses.
”I don't..I don't know who the leader is, but I know that the person is part of the Shi family. We received orders to get rid of that Shi girl..right, her name is Shi Xue. I don't know anything else about the leader.” She stuttered as she explained everything she knew to them. Zhi Hei's expression darkened when he heard Shi Xue's name.
He stood up from his seat and asked, ”Is that why you guys went after her and hired that assassin? How dare you do this to a harmless young lady?! Your younger brother influenced another person to get involved with the assassination.”
His sudden scream rushed blood to her brain as it startled her greatly. ”I..We .. We were given the orders to get rid of that girl without anyone knowing. The leader had said that she was an eyesore and without her, the project would run more smoothly. It was something to do with collecting funds to generate monetary assets to support the project.”
Hearing her words boiled the blood inside of his body. If Professor Luo Xia wasn't there, she would've been dead for ages already. Cold sweat perspired from her body as she continued giving out information, ”That Shi Xue didn't have what the leader was searching for. She was a useless chess that the leader didn't need, so she had to be taken care of. We were only following orders.”
Professor Luo Xia held Zhi Hei back from doing anything reckless, ”She still has use.” Zhi Hei nodded and sat back down in his seat. His fists could be seen tightened up as if he couldn't wait to beat the crap out of these people. At that moment, he decided to make sure each and every one of these people will get their bad endings once this is all over.
”Is there a map for the underground laboratories?”
She took a while to answer and when she parted her lips to talk, Professor Luo Xia glared at her. His eyes were dark as if he could see through her thoughts. A wicked grin curved on his face as he said, ”Remember, Tian Yuo could land in our hands with just one command from me.”
”We do. It's not a map, but there are hints in the place. It's hidden in the walls and there are different pathways. When you are there, you need to find similar patterns to find your way to wherever it is that you are looking for.” She closed her eyes and lowered her head in shame.
”Very well. List out the symbols and draw them out. If any of the information is false, your son will be shred to pieces in front of you.” This time, the guards came prepared and didn't need anyone to tell them to make a move.
One guard untied her while the other guard brought her a pen and sketchbook of paper. She had no excuses and could only obey them.
”Don't forget to write the names of the rooms for each symbol. Missing any information and you'll know what happens to you.” Zhi Hei warned as he stepped out of the cell.
