”Huh?” Susu raised her brows and looked at the stained bedsheets.

”Did you go to your obstetrician-gynecologist after the drugged incident with Tian Yuo?” Chen Mu sat beside her on the bed.

She shook her head, ”I felt some lower back ache and my legs were weak. Then, Tian Yuo mentioned something about taking my first time or us sleeping together. So I automatically assumed that it did happen.”

”When did your period come after that time? Since you track it, you should have saved it on your calendar or something.” He reminded her to doublecheck the possibility of it being her period that arrived the same morning as the whole drama began.

Quickly, she unlocked her cellphone and dated all the way back to over a year ago. ”Ah!! I got my period the same day. Everything was too sudden, so I never thought that it was possible for it to be my period blood...ehe...”

”How could you mistaken menstrual cramps and v.i.r.g.i.nity pain? Didn't it feel even slightly different?” He questioned and poked her forehead for not instantly checking her body. She was too careless.

”Hey! Who would be so attentive to go to see a doctor after losing their v.i.r.g.i.nity and facing the drama that came after? Plus! If Tian Yuo claimed that I slept with him, how would I know that even he, himself, had mistaken for what he did or didn't do that night? Another plus! I'm still a girl, so obviously losing my chastity is different! How would I know it was menstrual cramps and that it was a different type of pain than cramps? You tell me!”

Indeed, she was correct. Since she had never lost her v.i.r.g.i.nity until now, how would she have been able to distinguish the pain from menstrual cycle cramps?

She pouted at his random questions and decided to go to wash up. The moment her feet touched the floor, her legs weakened and her back felt sore. ”Ssss...” She hissed, and he quickly helped her settle back onto the bed.

”Where does it hurt?” He asked the obvious.

She looked at him with watery eyes, ”Where do you think?!” She puffed a few breaths; melting his heart immediately. He knelt down and massaged her thighs, ”Ahahaha, my beautiful dear~ Queen~~ It's all my fault. Come, let's help you clean up~~”

”Hmph! You dare ask me how I couldn't figure out cramps from this type of pain! This is coming from the man who just took my first time! Bleh! I'll go wash myself. Hmph! You can sleep on your own bed tonight and feel the cold air against your old man's back!” She averted her gaze and crossed her arms.

”No~~ Ahahaha, I was just... just caring about you. You know. Like I unexpectedly took my childhood sweetheart's v.i.r.g.i.nity and it was a shock~ I just wanted to... you know....clear up the misunderstandings~”

The moment he heard that he would be banished to the cold palace away from his mistress' chamber, he swore he would get that thought out of her mind. When she didn't give in to his whining, he shamelessly made faces until she opened her eyes to look at him again.

A loud laugh slipped out of her mouth as he pulled on his earlobes, stretched his lips the furthest it allowed him to and raised his left brow upwards. He held his breath and puffed his cheeks out while making a fish expression, ”Pffft...hahahahahaha.. okay, fine. Fine. Stop your nonsense! Sheesh.”

She massaged his cheeks to minimize his wrinkles with a smile on her face, ”Actually, I am quite happy to hear this.”

”Hmm? To hear what? Me whining for your attention or seeing me and making me your laughing buddy?” He purposely held his breath again and repeated the same expression.

”Pffft! I'm serious. I'm glad nothing happened that night. Even if this was a mistake, it is a beautiful one. A very blissful mistake.” She giggled and leaned forward; pecking him on the lips before bumping their foreheads against each other lightly.
