Chapter 57 - Feverish (1/2)

One afternoon, Lily was in the middle of shopping when she received a call from Susu. Through the call, she could catch the nervousness in her voice.

Susu sounded extremely glad when Lily picked up her call, ”Lily! Thank god you picked up!”

Lily smiled, ”Hello my darling! What's up? How are you two doing? Have you made a move yet? Last time I got some juicy news was about you pinning him down and kissing him~ I was so proud of you!”

Susu covered her face with embarrassment when she heard how Lily described her actions with such carefreeness, ”First of all! I jumped onto him on the couch in the middle of a horror movie! Second of all... well... there isn't any because I did kiss him. Anyways, do you have time for some lunch or dessert?”

Catching a glimpse of her bewildered tone, Lily decided to postpone her shopping plans and meet with her for lunch, ”Sure. I'm free today. Where do you want to meet? Do you need me to pick you up?”

Susu quickly replied, ”Oh! Umm.. Memories Cafe in an hour? And you don't have to pick me up. It's a ten minute walk from the condo.”

”Sure thing, Hun. I'll see you soon.” The uncertainty in Susu's tone worried Lily greatly.

-Memories Cafe-

Susu had already arrived and ordered a cup of Oolong tea with Cheese foam when Lily walked into the cafe. She smiled when she saw Susu lost in her thoughts and decided to give her a surprised hug from behind.

”Surprise!!! Hun, it's been so long since we've hung out! Last time I saw you were in that restaurant with your crappy family members! Don't worry though, that ending with the lecturing was too dull, so I added some sparks for you guys at the end. You know, like exploding fireworks.” She winked and told Susu how she smashed the plate of sweet and sour ribs in Karen's face and then taught Tian Yuo a lesson.

Susu laughed heartily when she heard Lily's descriptive details of how she did it and how many times she had jabbed Tian Yuo's toes before giving him a flat nose. ”Hahahaha, sounds just like you, Honey bun. Anyways, I have something important that I want to ask you today!”

Lily's eyes sparkled with excitement as she saw the slight blush on Susu's face, ”Yes! At your service anytime! Talk to granny!”

”So like... Recently, I've been feeling feverish...” She curled the tips of her hair using her finger.

”Feverish? Are you feeling alright?” Lily frowned and quickly placed her palms on Susu's forehead. Susu shook her head and said, ”Not that kind of fever. I meant... I meant like for example, after Chen Mu came out of his shower, I watched the water droplets trace down his neck..”

”Uh huh~ Come on, tell me more.” Lily already knew what was wrong with Susu, but being a natural teaser, it would be against her ethics to let this cute bunny go without making her cheeks turn bright as an apples.

Susu continued, ”When we were watching movies together, I wanted to get close to him. Once I did get close enough to feel his warmth, I ended up staring at his lips instead of the damn movie! And my hands!”

”What's wrong with your hands? Why? Where did it touch?” Lily grew even more excited after hearing Susu's slow confession and leaned forward with her hands by her ears to listen attentively to every word that she was about to say.
