Tian Yuo moved step by step, closer to where she was standing. Inch by inch, he approached the fragile looking girl whose hand gripped onto her Crossbody bag tightly. Though she was obviously nervous, her gaze remained fierce, without a trace of emotion attached.
”Stop where you are. Take another step, and I'll make sure you'll regret it.” Her eyes were dark and no longer transparent to read. With his gaze still on her body, eyeing her from head to toe, he said, ”Why so formal? Didn't you want me to be your husband before? If so, why would you avoid my touch?”
”Hah! What husband? I've never treated you as my husband and you'll never live to hear me call you that. You still have the chance to redeem a little, tiny bit of yourself.” While distracting him, one of her hands slid down the Crossbody strap and found the lipstick sized object in it. She uncapped it and felt the tip of the product to make sure it is what she was looking for.
A confident smile appeared on her face as she warned, ”Have your employees fix this elevator now. That night was a mistake and I've already forgotten about it. Tian Yuo, there are some things that will never be the same ever again. Even if you realize what you've once had, it's already too late.”
For the last time, she tried to slap some sense into his pea sized brain. He took another step forward, ”As long as we remain as husband and wife, anything I do will be worth it.”
”What is the point of a loveless marriage? You have a big head, but a brain so small that it is barely visible on a CT scan. The papers were signed, and that will remain that way. Now, hurry and tell your staff to run this elevator.” Her body shook from anger and her feet stomped twice.
”If you keep stomping, I wouldn't mind us dropping twenty floors down and end up dead.” He took another step, which startled her further. When he tried to stretch his hand out, she swallowed in a wince and reacted quickly.

”Arghh!!!!” Tian Yuo covered his entire face and rolled around the elevator floor in pain. Susu breathed heavily as she maintained the same position as before. Her arm was stretched out and her index finger was still on top of the pepper spray head. Out of desperation to get out of the situation, her body naturally reacted defensively and aimed aggressively at his eyeballs.
Although she sprayed it away from herself, the spray was extremely strong as her eyes began to tear up and swell from the scent of it. She could almost imagine how painful it must have been to get that substance into one's eyes. Quickly, she waved at the security camera in the elevator and shouted, ”I know you guys are watching, but if you do not run this elevator, then he will turn blind and this whole company will collapse. Do you want to lose your jobs?”
As if the security controllers behind the cameras really heard her, the elevator immediately started running again. The moment the elevator doors opened again, the medical staff was lined up with proper medical kits to assist him. While he was busy getting treated, she took this chance to sneak off and sign the divorce papers once again.
