Chris saw through her plans from her eyes. And this was the only reason why he didn't become disappointed at her yet. To be honest, his heart dropped a little when the words came out of her lips.

His steps almost faltered on that moment since he was already seeing three, sometimes, four or five Alessa talking at the same time to him.

The woman's hysterical yet pleading voice came first before the system.
