”...I might faint...” she unconsciously mumbled when saw the rewards, especially the number of points rewarded to her.

”Hmm?” Mrs. Silver who was standing next to her near the entrance of the hall turned her head to her adoptive daughter. ”What's wrong, my dear?”

She just had helped the Silver couple sent off another batch of guests. Gio was in another room upstairs discussing something with Harry while she was accompanying the kind madam to send off the guests.

When she heard Cindy's question, she could only blink and shake her head. Despite growing some attachment and good impression with this kind rich wife, she still was not someone Sofony could fess up with.

Sofony scolded herself for running her mouth carelessly. But because Cindy was giving her odd looks, she conditioned herself and made her expression back to normal again. ”Don't worry, Mom. I'm fine. But maybe I'm just feeling a bit tired.”

”I'm sorry, dear. I think you got traumatized. I perfectly understand because it's your first time appearing in occasions like this yet this is what you experienced.”

The madam said more words of assurance sympathetically and promised to make Lara and Bienvenido pay for ruining her event.

To this, Sofony only let out a few awkward laughs and then politely excused herself. Cindy understandingly let her go, knowing that this newly gained daughter would be running back to Gio's side.

And the madam's guess was spot-on. It was just in the process, Sofony was pondering about some delicate matters as she walked towards the staircase.

She didn't know how things ended up way over her expectation. There was not much deviation to her plan, but when something did come up, it totally bewildered the hell out of her.

The truth was, she really did and planned almost everything. All in the name of retaliation. After all, even if she wanted to let Lara off, the system wouldn't allow her, and since she also didn't want to let that woman get away that easily, she accepted and began the mission.

Hours ago, Sofony hypnotized the woman deemed as a lousy bitch by the system, with the verbal command suggesting to let the first man who would invite her upstairs do everything he wanted to her body.

The man was naturally also chosen by Sofony. It was that middle-aged businessman that tried to hit on her when she separated for a short while with Gio.

She entranced the man to invite Lara into a designated room and let out all her sexual fantasies to her.

To be honest, this part was not really her idea, it was a quest requirement!

The truth was, if the system did not specify this part, Sofony would have only made Lara jump stupidly in the middle of the hall while shouting 'I am a crazy woman!' one hundred times, or eat mismatching dishes so that she'll get diarrhea...

Now, the things that took place next was beyond her expectations. Initially what she imagined, albeit guiltily, was Lara getting caught in bed by the few people the rich madam would lead there.

Gio was not with her this time so there would be no one to help her up or prevent her from falling. In short, she had to be extra careful.

When she finally stepped into the second floor, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.

However, that vanished when her eyes unconsciously passed by the right wing. There, the busy maids and house-helpers tidying the accursed room didn't escape her notice.

Sofony's lips twitched a little when she remembered just exactly what caused this house-helpers to frown, and for that short while, she didn't know what to think.

She took back her eyes from the right side and met the gaze of Gio who just came out from one of the rooms on the left. ”Gio!”

The tall man's expressive dark eyes met hers as he nodded. ”Let's leave. I already informed Mr. Silver.”

He then strode to her side and wrapped his right arms around her waist. His actions had been very smooth like it was just second nature to him. Those who witnessed this gave them a blank stare and wondered how close the relationship had to be to reach this degree of intimacy.

”Don't I need to say goodbye to him?” she asked in a soft voice.

”I already did.”

Sofony suddenly felt a bit awkward as she had to descend the stairs just after she had climbed it up. Also, her heartbeats were being annoying and strange again. She knew his touches triggered this. But it was really puzzling given that they had long been exchanging body fluids.

'...System.' While being led out of the mansion by Gio, Sofony suddenly called out to the devil in her head.

Before she heard the reply though, she had to temporarily halt her steps due to being stunned by Gio's action. They had just stepped out of the entrance, and he just finished draping his coat over her petite body. This prompted her to turn her head to his way, a dumbfounded expression adorning her face.

He must have noticed her silly expression and therefore said, ”It's colder outside. Stop acting like it's a miracle for a normal gentleman like me to offer a jacket to his girl.”

Sofony blinked at him for a while before replying, ”Oh. Okay. But you'll also get cold. Can't we just share?”

Actually, when the words left her lips, she immediately felt stupid for asking because unlike her whose shoulders and arms were bare, he even after removing his black coat, still had a white long-sleeved upper garment underneath shielding him from the chilly wind. Aside from this, the man had a strong built toughened up by his experiences in the military. She was just initially worrying, thinking 'what if he caught a cold due to this?'. But then, she realized it could also be plain stupid for a girl like her to worry about him.

Because of this, with a reddened face, she grabbed tightly on the jacket and quickly commented, ”Don't mind what I just said, let's just go home quick, please,” and then let herself be escorted by the chuckling man into his car.

Finally, the most damnable existence in the world spoke.

Her replies didn't come immediately as she took some time pacifying her heart and mind while collecting her thoughts. This took her minutes, and by then, she was already inside the car, sitting on the passenger seat.

Once back to normal again, she then began to ask it.
