In reality, Sofony was just very upset with herself. The system might be taunting her, but it's also merely saying the truth.

<System: Now what? Aren't you asking more about Felicity? Don't forget your main mission. Don't also forget that you're always having sex with your man without protection. If you fail, you're gonna be pregnant and gang-banged. Haha.>

Sofony bit her lip. The one thing she doesn't want for sure is to end up like that.

'Sorry, but I will not be sorry, Felicity.'

”Bored?”

Sofony was knocked out of her 'drowned in thoughts' state. It was this cafe's manager asking her. Probably the manager assumed she was bored and restless because she kept on staring at nowhere, sometimes roaming her eyes aimlessly to every table and customer.

”Ah, manager? No, I am not.”

”You're obviously bored. Unfortunately, this old man can't allow my boss to do menial works.”

”Y-you're not that old, and do not call me your boss.” She said.

”The previous boss already transferred the cafe's ownership to you, you even signed it two days ago in my presence.”

”I-It's just too surreal for me,” she admitted. ”I didn't know he would do that, I am just wanting a part-time.”

The manager glanced at her playfully before leaving her. Sofony got embarrassed but was also annoyed. Gio did all of this. He didn't say anything about the debt so Sofony still had no idea. However, he admitted he was actually the owner of the cafe and unceremoniously gave it to her.

”...”

<System: By the way, I just remembered. If you actually want to know all information related to your partner, there's a tab in your interface that can help you. You haven't taken a glance at your List of Partners page, right? Really, stupid.>

Sofony cupped her face as she leaned on the counter. The staffs next to her didn't bother with her as they were busy with their work.

The system was actually correct as she didn't really explore much about the interface. That last menu made her feel lost though and always made her not take a look at it. However, since the system said she would be able to get more information about Gio on it, she reluctantly browsed it.

She didn't want to, but after a few minutes of reading, she kind of regretted doing so because the information on it was so detailed. Once again, the fear and complicated feelings for him that almost vanished after weeks of physical union instantly returned with a scale much greater than before...

She had to bow down to hide her ragged breathing.

'He's a military man before turning to business...'

' And his family is very complicated.'

'The stepmother killed his father by poisoning. She wanted all the riches for herself and her adultery partner.'

Sofony almost collapsed from the shock. Fortunately, the chair she's taken had a backrest. Her hand subconsciously shook under the counter as all negative thoughts swam inside her head.

She remained still in her position with her face very white, like no blood course through her face. No one cared because nobody else noticed.

<System: Continue reading, stupid. It's not like he will kill you just because he killed his stepmother. In a sense, he just took revenge for his father and defended himself because he was fed an aphrodisiac.>

”....”

The shock was really very potent on her so Sofony just decided to not read anymore.

She rid of the system in her thoughts and passed the time blankly staring at the ceiling or walls. Her colleagues threw her suspicious and odd looks. Many of them were aware she's now their boss so they didn't speak and just assumed that she's not used to not moving around.

One time, her eyes went to a table near the exit and recognized the person sitting there. It was a girl. A beautiful one. She was very familiar so she recognized her even though she could only see half of the girl's face.

'Felicity? That Felicity?'

'Is she waiting for someone?'
